The New England Patriots returned to Gillette Stadium Sunday afternoon where they beat their AFC East rival the Miami Dolphins 35-17. There were some issues with communication, quarterback pressure, turnovers and injuries, but the Patriots still came out on top.

Here is what we learned from the win:

Patriots continue making adjustments
Defense continues making strides
Injuries continue to pile up

11-28: Bills Cornerback E.J. Gaines with Howard and Jeremy (6:52)

Gaines - it wouldn't matter to us if someone picked us to beat the Patriots or not. #Bills

Gaines - it was good to see Tre'Davious doing well out there, and we wanted to carry the load to help win the game on Sunday. #Bills

Gaines - we were trying to stop the explosive plays from Tyreek Hill and limit the Chiefs' offense as a whole on Sunday. #Bills

Gaines - Brady is pretty much everything you hear about and see on TV. He's a competitor. It's a headache going against him. #Bills

Is it just me, or by looking at the playoff simulator, it's actually more probable we overtake the Titans for the 6th seed?  They have a tougher schedule and we would have the tiebreaker if both teams finish 9-7 (conference record).

Jeremy and Howard had an entire breakdown on this bery subject in the am. You have to root for Jacksonville.

Pats have sold out every game since 94'. 65000 wait list. Hardly bandwagon.

Fuzzy math.

“Sellout,” as New England sports fans have come to learn, is a relative term. A very relative term.

The Buffalo Bills (6-5) are back in the midst of the playoff race after they ended a three-game skid, defeating the Kansas City Chiefs 16-10 Sunday. They’ll have a daunting task against the New England Patriots (9-2), the first of two matchups against their AFC East nemesis in the span of five weeks in Week 13 at New Era Field.

Here are four things to know about Sunday’s huge divisional clash.

Tom Brady has annihilated Buffalo this millennium
After rough start, Patriots defense impressive
Stephon Gilmore shouldn’t expect a warm welcome
Under-the-radar defenders wreaking havoc on QBs

As a Pats fan McCoy scares me as the Pats D has been inconsistent at BEST against the run add in TT and the Bills could run all over the Pats.

Mind you I still expect a Pats victory but not a blowout like so many on here are calling. I say 31- 21 as a final.

If the bills won Sunday they wouldhave the same conference record as Baltimore. This game might be the season for us. Considering the opponent...not good

If the Bills had only won at the Jets

or against the Saints

mcdermott gets the Chargers game.

It’s more than this last game or 2 but 4.

BILLS NEED SOME HELP IN PLAYOFF PUSH

The good news is that with Tyrod Taylor back under center in the win over the Chiefs, the Bills' playoff chances rose 10 points in ESPN's FPI. But the Ravens, who are tied at 6-5 for the second wild-card spot with Buffalo, saw their chances increase to 75 percent with their win over the Texans on Monday night. Baltimore would be in, with Buffalo out, if the playoffs started this week.

These percentages don't mean squat. Just win baby!

The Bills have only AFC games remaining. They currently have played one fewer conference game than BAL so all is not lost. The Ravens wins have come vs quarterbacks with a QBR of 38.5. Four of their wins were vs backup QBs. With five games left, the WC situation in the AFC remains pretty fluid.

Exactly . Those percentages don't take into account that two thirds of the Ravens wins were against backups. HOU could have won easily with average QB play last night. The Ravens have games remaining vs Stafford, Roethlisberger and Dalton. Flacco' s QBR is actually worse than the cumulative of the six QBs they've beaten. They are far from a lock to win any game except perhaps vs CLE.
