It may (or may not) be bunk, but it wasn't a rumor started by the OP. Yes I know. I was just being lazy typing on my phone. I didn't mean to make it sound like the OP wrote it. However, I will say that the OP is digging up and posting everything he can to try and discredit this team and staff. They haven't even played one football game together. Know he looked slow in preseason, know he wants to save the world, but we may be down Matthews a while and could probably use a possession guy, if so. He could have stayed on, could have been a great mentor to Jones, could have helped Jones through the rough patch that he has started with, could have believed in the process instead of bailing when Sammy was traded. Supposedly he retired as he believed the Bills weren't a contender and that he wanted to go to the Pats after Edelman's injury. 1/4 of the way through the year, the Bills are a game ahead of the Pats and are in need of receiving help.
