This is over the same period of time. Leaving the politics out of it is there really a big statistical difference between both QB's? When you consider Colin's salary could be in the $5-$6 million base salary range with Bonuses which one would you rather have? OldTimeAFLGuy Posted August 25, 2017 Share Posted August 25, 2017 (edited) Are they? ....statistically close....BUT I think TT has a FAR superior work ethic and attitude versus Casper-nick (not talking politics).....he hit the bright lights too soon and was easily distracted by hits "tats 'n poses" routine....opposing DC's figured him out in relatively short order........... Just watch the business side of the game talk when a starting QB goes down. That owner is going to run with Kaepernick over QB2 most likely. Half the price? Nah... Kap thinks he is good. Turned down 14.5 Million guranterd to stay on San Fran and it was also reported that he has turned down other offers. Yep, it's a small sample to look at, but given that Kap isn't on the field, I might just be right. Somebody will get hurt and Kap will get a chance this year.
