BringMetheHeadofLeonLett
Somewhere in the early 90's I was doing riders for bands at a music festival. Usually it was a case of a particular beer, a couple bottles of a particular tequila... stuff like that... My favorite rider ever was Arlo Guthrie. I'd guess he was mid-50's at the time and wanted, ' A pint of genuine half and half.' That was it. I made sure to get him the finest pint of half-n-half I could possibly get my hands on. ) Edited February 5 by BringMetheHeadofLeonLett

DrW
Guitarist Mick Abrahams left Jethro Tull after their first album and formed together with Jack Lancaster (sax; sometimes two at the same time - see clip) his own band. Whatever you think of their music (I like them very much), you have to admit that their band name is way cooler than "Jethro Tull": "Blodwyn Pig".

There was a British TV drama in the early 90scalled "Civvies" which told the story of a group of servicemen returning to civilian life after leaving the army. Brothers in Arms was the them tune to the show and it has always stuck with me since then. The show was written by renowned TV drama writer Lynda La Plant. I recommend it if you can find it somewhere. Edited February 9 by BritBill
DrW
3/4 Camper Van Beethoven, 1/4 Counting Crows - The Monks Of Doom. After 2 intriguing albums in the beginning of the 1990s, they came out with their next set of original songs more than 25 years later in "The Bronte Pin", many of them featured here. Jethro Tull was a pretty earthy dude, a real pioneer... I like the bands choice... plant a seed...
OGTEleven
It's just 15 seconds of a coming attraction. Pause the video toward the end to see the list of players.
DrW
As far as Pop-Rock bands go, "The Sparks" had a very unique sound. In this clip, the usually very stoic brother, Ron Mael (keyboards), actually smiles and (pretends to) play guitar.
Low Positive
A lot of cool and great things posted here, but I keep coming back to this. Stevie had just gotten full create control and he was exploring new instruments. But the soul still flowed. Amazing stuff in retrospect. muppy
the 2 trombone players in this clip are acquaintances of mine through my son. Both top NYC session musicians this being just one of their gigs. Darius the black with dreads tours regularly with people like Macklemore and Gwen Stefani.
