DOJ Appoints Robert Mueller as Special Counsel - Jerome Corsi Rejects Plea Deal

Didn't there use to be a thread about this?

California Republican Rep. Devin Nunes’s dishonesty sticksin one’s craw. “Now we have some additional information in the form of the redacted FISA applications themselves, and the Nunes memo looks even worse. . . . Now we can see that the footnote disclosing [Christopher] Steele’s possible bias takes up more than a full page in the applications, so there is literally no way the FISA Court could have missed it. The FBI gave the court enough information to evaluate Steele’s credibility.” But Speaker of the House Paul D. Ryan (R-Wis.) won’t pull Nunes from the committee. Shameful.

Paul Ryan is on vacation until his term ends and has been for a few months now.

The FBI disgraced

by Scott Johnson

I hold with Byron York that the release of the heavily redacted FISA warrant application documents on Carter Page have vindicated Devin Nunes.

By the same token, Andrew McCarthy now judges that the documents disgrace the FBI. As always, Andy knows what he is talking about.

His must-read NR column is FISA Applications Confirm: The FBI Relied on the Unverified Steele Dossier.”

With the skills of a natural teacher who knows what he is talking about, Andy explains the disgrace that is apparent here.

AP's tweet is so slanted it's actually funny.

What's sad is how many people are completely blind to the slant and implication.

Why does this matter?  They don't have access to that information now that they are out of office, do they?

My understanding is they are consulted after they leave since they have the historical perspective of how things have gone.

Yeah, that seems like a REALLY bogus reason.

Once they're out, they need to be OUT.

For sure they should not be kept or removed just for political reasons.

They should absolutely be removed for whatever reason the President (ANY President) sees fit.

And when removed, they should have all clearances revoked.

Unless, of course, they simply were "part of it" and knew the whole Russia collusion stuff was total BS to stop Trump from obtaining too much truth and giving such truth to the American people....
