If he really just says he is above the law that way and won't follow a legal order backed up by the Supreme Court--assuming the court agrees--that would be a serious conflict. He should simply plead the fifth to everything. His supporters will not care and it would surprise anyone. Of course he could be goaded into talking, pretty hard for him to keep his trap shut for hours of questions and just saying "I plead the fifth." Still along my lines of thinking that at the risk of exposure we find some people suicded by double tap or missing or, in cases of foreign threats flat out covertly assassinated to avoid those coming back on us.
