McKelvin was super athletic, but was raw and had poor ball skills. White isn't necessarily the most athletic guy, but has very good ball skills and played at a high level against some of the best competition in college football for four years. So sure, if you're basing your evaluation of a football player on how they speak to the media, I guess he's similar to McKelvin, but as a football player, not so much. White is a technician at the highest level of college ball and McKelvin was just an insane athlete but not much between the ears in the Sun Belt conference. Billsfansinceday1 Posted May 2, 2017 Share Posted May 2, 2017 I haven't heard him speak yet but I do know that most students are not their school's valedetorian, as Tre' was.He also wore the prestigious #18 at LSU so I think we made a good choice as far as brains and character go.
