where did you see this?

There were reports from some relatively minor sources that Kromer was released from his contract. He signed a two year contract two years ago though, so he would have been free to sign with any team. It's hard to know if he was actually released before it ran out. They could have done it as a courtesy because he is being considered for other OC jobs, rumored to be for the Rams (although McVay is going to run that offense).

I think that McCoy was probably first choice.....now the next guy on their list is still coaching int he playoffs.

 

I think it is important that we do NOT rush the OC hire.....because we are going to have to replace having a top 10 points scoring per game offense now that Lynn has moved on.

 

Take as much time as you need Whaley

Obviously they're not since they haven't hired one yet

I agree that since they haven't named an offensive coordinator yet, they're waiting on somebody from a playoff team. And my guess would be Brad Childress.

 

 

FWIW, Childress was contemplating retirement this summer.

 

He's no spring chicken....though he resembles a plucked one.

it was Romans offense but we should wait for the best guy, hoping for someone from Atlanta.
