To be fair, Badol has always said positive things when the merit is there - Sammy in 2015, Shady (!) this season, Tyrod directing the offense, the pass D in 2013, the D overall in 2014, Schwartz's fit for the D that year, keeping Rob Johnson (yes, I remember!), and even Donohoe. It's not all sunshine and lollipops in Badol's world, but it's also note Dante's seventh level either.

I thought we burned that book centuries ago.

If you could send me your address...

When I read an excessively negative poster... I wonder what it must be like for their immediate family.

That's the fan-hater in you taking things FAR too seriously......you gotta' let it go.

It's not the fans fault and it's just entertainment.

Would you feel better about it if instead of the (somewhat inappropriate, IMO) "private matter" answer, he gave the Professional Sports Stock Answer which would be "we felt that it was the best thing for our organization to go in a different direction" or "it was a business decision, we feel the drivers for that business decision are internal and confidential"?

you mean pandering. and yes, as we can see, they would feel better

The fact that your entertainment involves dressing up like eeyore and trolling people with negative comments on a fan board makes the poster's premise relevant

I get where you're coming from, and honestly my point was really about Pegula's media savvy (or lack thereof). To your question, though, I do think that it's possible to offer more than either corporate speak or a non-response. There are other options besides these -- as evidenced in the links I provided (Lurie saying that decision making in the late Reid era becoming scattered; Ralph saying what he said about Wade, etc.). Again, these are hardly state secrets, and we're talking about exceptionally public events given the NFL's popularity and broad hardcore fan base. We're not talking about the firing of middle managers at a ball bearings factory in Duluth, Minnesota.

I don't want to make too big of a deal of this. As GG pointed out, Graham's questions (which were good) were also asked in a badgering, hectoring way, and I can see getting irritated by them. But he should have expected it. Kim P seemed fine to me, and she's half the deal anyway. More to the point, she's probably going to outlive Terry and will probably be sole owner some day.

We're just dis-funkshunull.

Apparently if you can't be positive about seemingly rudderless uncertainty you need your head examined.

The problem is some posters expect you to throw out some positives for lip service or something. If I post the Pegulas stink at making decisions, I owe at least 3 posts that "Sammy is really talented," or "the jerseys are really cool!" or "Kyle Williams is a great Bill."

Like who cares about those takes? I need to post them so I don't sound negative? No thanks. I'm here for discussion and discourse and to hear viewpoints that may conflict with mine. A topic where 500 posters all say Kyle is great is not only boring, but entirely unnecessary. We all know and agree. No reason to say it.

I agree with you here but most posters at this forum do not.

Most here view this place as a fan club, a place to celebrate the Bills.

If anything logic says to be negative given the history of the people who made the hire.

Exactly.

Quantifying what makes a great HC is not easy but there really is nothing special about McDermott to distinguish this hire.

I mean people are quoting Andy Reid about the guy and Reid FIRED his asss in Philly.

It's amazing to me how easily people are bent over for a COMPLETE system re-boot with a complete nobody candidate.

I can see people getting swayed by Rex dumping Schwartz D because he'd had success against our nemesis......but bringing back Danny Crosshairs and talking about a west coast offense with the javelin tossing QB's we have?

OMG how hard is it to adequately manage all 3 aspects of football......every coach is given his chance to repeat mistakes that have already been made here.......that's how it's done.

pornographic words or intentions are not something that is readily accepted round here John.

Perhaps you will remove "Vapid" from any further commentary? It make some folks uncomfortable

What are you talking about? This is a bawdy group that prefers an erect point rather than a flaccid point. Most of the disreputable members here would rather for a change of pace anonymously visit a house of ill-repute than be stuck listening to Murphy glowingly describe the state of affairs at OBD. Being stimulated is certainly better than expending energy to make oneself depressed.

http://buffalonews.com/2017/01/12/terry-pegula-accusations-bills-dysfunctional-consider-insult/

Buffalo Bills co-owner Terry Pegula will introduce new coach Sean McDermott on Friday afternoon and then step aside.

Pegula will take no questions. Neither will his wife, Bills co-owner Kim Pegula. That's how they prefer it.

Waste of interview. Most every answer: confidential, private, no disclosure, NOYB. Thought it was very arrogant, especially from a person of TP's stature you would think would handle it better
