"Just a sec!"

"Cool beans."

"In today's society..."

"See, what had happened was..."

Here in NE everyone uses the term "share out" when talking about speaking about something to a group of people (e.g., Johnny, would you please share out about your summer vacation?)

I'm sure I'll come up with several more today at work.

How does preggers grab you?

Preggers bugs me, too. Knocked up is a white trash term.

The younger crowd seems to likeeee to put extra last letters of wordssss for no reasonnn. And they also say yasssssss! Instead of "yes."

Why are they all so !@#$ing stupid?

It bugs me when people say the word "is" twice in row, as in, "the thing is is that..."

It's very common. Just say "the thing is..." I don't know why so many people feel the need to say "is" twice there.

Another one that is extremely common among sportscasters:

"These type of..."

I believe John Madden was the originator of this. He would always say he loves "these type-a guys..." Now it seems to have been adopted as acceptable. I hear it during every game.

Very annoying! Just say "THIS type of guy..." or "these guys..."

(ok, I realize I'm just complaining about grammatical mistakes now, but I can't help it)
