Gore distanced himself from Bill instead of having him campaign with him. Word was out during her campaign that Hillary would not listen to Bill, and she lost (in part) due to that. People can (and do) say whatever they like about Bill Clinton, but even his "enemies" have correctly called him politically savvy. Those two were stupid (my guess is that in Hillary's case is she wanted to do it "alone" (ie, by herself, with no help from her "husband"), and in Gore's case he listened to bad advice from his campaign manager and a few others), and they lost (in part) because they were dumb. So, you were all aboard with bringing the hammer down on your hubby when Gore happened to walk away with oodles of Tibetan Buddhist monks cash, right? Too bad there was "no controlling legal authority" actually able to enforce that one, right? (Funny how laws designed to keep politicians honest always seem to have such loopholes baked in.) And, you've never comingled Clinton Foundation money with your own nor has that organization ever accepted foreign donations, right? Oh, how silly, that money wasn't for electioneering, that was for policy setting; totally different realm. Yup, she's definitely legit in her criticizing on this.

B-Man
VICTOR DAVIS HANSON: Clinton Projection Syndrome. For much of her professional life, Hillary Clinton had acted above and beyond the law on the assumption that as the wife of a governor, as first lady of the United States, as a senator from New York, as secretary of state and as a two-time candidate for the presidency, she could ignore the law without worry over the consequences. For Clinton now to project that the president should be indicted suggests she is worried about her own potential indictment. And she is rightly concerned that for the first time in 40 years, neither she nor her husband is serving in government or running for some office, and therefore could be held accountable. Hedge
I don't recall having seen this before, but it's a marvelous thread, even if it's only 1/1024th true. I especially enjoy the visuals described in this referenced article: The most notable damage was located deep in the VIP room of the Clinton camp. A custom 150 inch ultra HD TV, a gift from the Saudi Arabian government, was found with a broken screen. The damage was caused by a $950,000 bottle of champagne that was believed to have been thrown at the screen by the former presidential candidate some time during the election. 1

I think the most I spent on a bottle of Champagne was $300. And I think the best I’ve had was Vueve Cliquot Grande Dame. I didn’t buy it but looked it up and it’s about $150. Sobriety is great but drinking excellent wine was sure a lot of fun.
