Trump Alone at the Top

Recommended Posts

It will be refreshing when the media awakens and starts reporting on homelessness and hunger and poverty in America and demanding to know what Trump is going to do about it.

Odd how homelessness, hunger, and poverty in America are always an epidemic during Republican administrations. It's like these things don't exist during Democratic administrations

Dumbass. That's WHY you debate the second-place finisher. To marginalize Her Royal Highness and Her Lady Privy Seal.

Do you notice how the more this moron speaks before he thinks, the less you see his supporters around here?

The entire Trump presidency could literally be "Make a statement on Monday. Spend the rest of the week explaining away the comment until he gets to Friday, when he makes a statement such as "I like banana splits! They're amazing."

It's like watching gatorman run for president.

Agree but Trump's handlers have probably correctly calculated that Bernie would eat him up in the debate. Bernie would cream him in terms of style, genuiness and knowing the subject matter.

Dan Riehl tweets an interesting take: “think chess not checkers. It’s a thing of beauty, he’s now saying he won’t debate Bernie but he sure elevated him.” It should certainly put a little wind in Bernie’s sails for the last phase of the far left’s internecine version of 2008’s “Operation Chaos.”

The only dumbass here is the person who doesn't realize that this was Trump's goal all along, and that he never had any intention of actually debating Sanders.

Why would you give Sanders the legitmacy of standing on the stage with you? You wouldn't. Legitimizing Sanders is a bridge too far.

No. The right thing to do is get Bernie's name in the paper, re-energize Berners, and keep the establishment Ds, Debbie Wasserman Schultz and the Clinton campaign in hell(right were they belong, btw) for at least another month. For all we know, this, + Nevada, could keep them in hell right through the convention and beyond.

The best part is: the scapegoats are, once again, the media, who are now "too stingy to put up enough money for charity", out of an event that everybody knows would have had SB-like ratings, would have scored them many times the $10 million Trump required. Thus, Trump's story was always as plausible as it was planned. Trump gets what he wants, and on top of that, he's maniupulated the professional whiners in the media and on the left...into whining, AGAIN. Yet another cry of wolf.

I'd say the question of whether this is checkers or chess depends on the IQ of the observer, first, and then their affectation and/or perspective. But that is trivialized when we consider the results. This is masterful politics. This is far beyond beating the Ds at their own Saul Alinsky game. This is something as different as it is better...because of the simplicity of its design.

Meanwhile, the NYT is trying to tell us chaos is running amok in Trump's HQ? Is that what we see here? Chaos? Or do we see desgin? Once again, much depends on the IQ of the observer.

It's not quite that bad. I'll bet Trump can read a pie chart.

Don't confuse me dealing with a major new international partner who wants to deploy our stuff to every client they have....

...with not being around here because of Trump speaking/thinking/etc.

I am working on a few posts I think will be helpful to you. We'll see.

Like politics, “the media” is changing rapidly. Trumps presidential campaign has driven that change into hyperspeed.

Thanks to Trump, “the media” has lost serious control and influence. They’ve thrown everything at Trump and it doesn’t stick because Trump constantly does or says something that they’ll be forced to cover the very next day or risk looking like they’re a day late and a dollar short.

Many old war horse pundits are just completely dumbfounded at Trumps rise and success in the presidential election. They simply don’t understand that Americans 55 years old and younger have been programmed for the fast paced, no nonsense, don’t bore me presidential candidate that is Trump.

It’s funny now that Scott Walker was the first guy to drop out of the race. Walker was the “cookie cutter”, bore you to tears presidential candidate which has become a dinosaur in this modern age of 24/7 social media.

Trump university ordered by judge to release internal documents that might show how his fraud works. Trump responded to the situation by calling the judge a Mexican.

Lots of talk this weekend about a Romney/Kasich independent run.................

Good Lord, they just never learn.

It's not a matter of them learning. They know what they'd be doing. And the scariest part is they'd rather have Shrillary as president.

Donald Trump supposedly told House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) he supports cutting Social Security but will not admit it publicly because it would hurt his election chances, according to a report in Bloomberg BusinessWeek

This gives Clinton and Democrats running for Congress a hot button issue to run on.
