Trump Alone at the Top

Recommended Posts

And on the other side, Trump has been getting boat loads of free air time from the constant 24-7 coverage of him.

It's almost as if the media chose our candidates for us :lol:their corporate owners.

Let's not pretend this election is about us. The people aren't part of the equation this election cycle.

What are you talking about? The result is still the same. If Trump wins the nomination, he gets his ass handed to him...and in all likelihood you're looking at all GOP gains at all levels over the last eight years getting wiped out.

Hillary with the WH, House and Senate. Every reasonable person sees this with the Trump nomination.

Hell, I wish I was at least the kind of person who enjoys saying "I told you so" because if Trump gets the nod, it'll be the biggest, fattest, most amazing "I told you so" of all times. Believe me. I talk to people. They tell me all the time how yuuuuge it's going to be. The biggest. Ever.

He's a dump phuck and will embarrass everyone. Mark my words.

Are we pretending you haven't been spouting that Cruz has been wiping the floor with Hilly in the national polls while conveniently ignoring his clear losses vs. Trump? Like I said, you're just on the other side of the coin, content to point out what you perceive to be hypocrisy while remaining ignorant to your own.

A Trump presidency would be a lot more entertaining than one featuring Hilary.

Although, I would like to get the war of the sexes started. We need to get these nutty liberal ideologies out into the light. I'll mansplain to anyone who doesn't know what I'm talking about...

Cruz would just be boring.

Entertaining? That's the litmus test for the most important job in the world?

Did he explain how the wall's going to get built?

Via construction. And it will have a very ostentatious door. And Mexico will pay for the wall. We will pay for the door but any maintenance needed for the hinges will be paid by Mexico.

One word about a wall on the northern border and this guy gets my vote.

It'll be a moat on the northern border with the keystone pipeline running through a portion of it and Iran is paying for that and the Chinese will run the currency exchange between the U.S. and Canada.

He didn't mop up. He got what the entire thinking world knew he would get.

But hey...I'm sure the media loves you adding to their hype.

PA expected to come in at 48%...he achieved 60. HE could have beaten Cruz and Kasich combined. His trend is up.

Total overachieving night and I hate his guts.

To be fair, polls can change dramatically over a 6 month period.

A 12 point lead in head to head is McGovern-like and thus far, the media has not unleashed the kracken on Trump, instead hoping to lynch him with his own words.

Think about the debates thus far. Trump gets saved in every debate because the adults (and there are several) talk about the issues while he gets his soundbytes. He will look like an idiot when he's expected to deliver 50% of the thought leadership. I dislike Clinton as much as many here but make no mistake, she's smart--she will eviscerate him in the debates.

You can pretend I wrote that to make your point, but please go hunting for all the times I wrote that Cruz has been wiping the floor with Hillary in national polls.

Go ahead.

We'll wait.

While you're wasting your time trying to prove something I never said, I don't need to pretend that Trump is anything other than a long-term Democrat, who fed money to Hillary, Reid and Pelosi over the past 40 years, and could not give one living schitt about you, me, or anything that includes the word "America."

He's a leftwing nutbag who has managed to con a bunch of previously smart conservative people.

That's it. Nothing more. Nothing less. When this is over, we'll all find out who was right and who was conned.

Nobody has any kind of idea what kind of nutbag he is. Left, right, center.

Trump cares about Trump. He's as dumb as a jar of mayonaise but people vote for him because he's an outsider. Not one other cogent reason. "Repubs" are lining up behind him now. It's a hellluva dumpster fire.

Conservatism is not in the future of US politics. At best the future is going to be socialists vs. center-Dems with the Conservatives becoming ever more marginalized as white America dies (literally) in the next 50 years.

I keep hoping the Libertarians can form some coalition with centrists but it seems less likely.

It's the leader we deserve for a population who gets it's relevant news from comedy central.

Today's moderates will be labeled tomorrow's extreme right. We already have people calling Obama a center-right President, when he was considered a far lefty socialist 8 years ago.
