he hadn't done anything this year and then was signed and cut by several different teams after the Bills cut him. Not sure if he's one of the best in the league and I don't really blame the bills for trying other options.

I remember when they signed Moore there was mention that Lal really wanted him. So they rolled the dice based on input from one their position coaches, and it didn't work out. I am just glad to not have Mclovin back there anymore.

Do you ever wonder why the average fan could see Moore was not a contributor while Thigpen is literally one of the better kick returners in the NFL? Yet the powers to be cut Thigpen. Glad to see him back but I don't understand why he wasn't here from the beginning.

They were sending a message after a bad game and it backfired. Glad to have #11 back in the fold.

Moore has played well in the past and has history with our staff... So maybe they based it off that and simply made the move back when it didn't work and they could.

Seems simple.

As stated above, because of how Thigpen was playing, and the injuries at the time to three of our six WR, and with Leo coming back soon, they simply decided that a WR/KR was a more valuable roster spot than a KR/WR who wasn't returning kicks well. It just didn't work out.

Yup. Not a crazy move, and they went back when they could. Really no need for the "they were idiots" sentiment on this one. This one was reasonable shuffling. Some moves work better than others.

When we cut Thigpen and Gay some of us called it - a damn stupid move! Now they are both back...... and Cundiff and Moore are back where they should be - in the unemployment line.

I kind of think Rex had a big hand in both given that he admitted that Moore was "Sanjay Lal's guy" and Cundiff was obviously signed as some kind of head game with DC.... the problem being Cundiff is not only a crap field goal kicker but a crap kick off specialist too.

EDIT: However, despite that and despite being a Whaley fan he has to take some blame too. He should have said no the 53 is up to me get back in your box.

That week we had two totally healthy WR in Woods and Hogan, and two guys playing hurt in Goodwin and Harvin, who both got hurt in the game IIRC.

I have to wonder WTF is happening at OBD. Cutting and re-signing the same players over and over again? Are the inmates running the asylum here? Next thing you know Fred will be back and this board will completely explode! Seriously, many of the personnel moves this season have made nearly zero sense. Cutting Thiggy probably cost us the Cheats game, and may have cost us the season. <SMH>
