In that spirit, Ive compiled my All Playoff Drought Team. Despite an overall record of 97-143 (.404) and just two winning seasons, some pretty darn good players have come through Orchard Park since 2000. This team would be tough to beat. Solomon Grundy
http://www.democratandchronicle.com/story/sports/columnist/roth/2015/08/28/buffalo-bills-playoff-drought-leo-roth-drew-bledsoe-donte-whitner/71306142/ I'd rather Gregg Williams as HC than Dick Jauron. Gregg was more of a risk taker. Although I wouldn't mind a re-hash of the Dick Jauron song!!
Kirby Jackson
I was actually hoping that the "all-drought" team would have been a list of the bad players that contributed to the last 15 years. Maybe there would have had to be some criteria that they had to start at least 10 games. It would have been a fun/depressing disaster.

Wayne Cubed
i see so many horrible dark blue jerseys... Ahhhhh Couple of them are pretty tough, like RB. At this point I think it has to be CJ just because he's been the most disappointing. McGahee, Henry, Lynch all were productive in Buffalo. Roth was referring to good players over the last 15 years. We know, I suggested earlier it may be fun to do the opposite. What is the worst possible lineup that you can construct of guys that started at least 10 games? Wayne took an unbelievable first pass at it. Oh man, I think that a handful of plays summed up the last 15 years and that is one. Nick Folk's back-to-back bombs in 2007 (think '07) and McGee's kick return before halftime against the Saints in San Antonio in 2005 are the others to me. I have to disagree with Josh Reed. He was underrated and under-appreciated by Bills' fans. Guy could catch a ball in traffic with his teeth. Truth is, he had a bad year or two, when he was forced into the #1 WR role and pressed a bit too hard. And, to be honest, I think he smoked entirely too much pot, based on how he sounded in interviews. But the man was fearless and blocked like a mofo. Maybe he wasn't suited to the #1 role and wilted under the pressure to do so. But he was hardly a bust.

I never loved McGee) SS : Coy Wire started 16 games in 2002 At QB can we please please please have JP or Trent? They were such an iconic representation of how terrible those teams were. Van Pelt was never meant to be a starter, he just filled in because no one else could. JP and Trent ruined lives. Josh was a very good YAC guy. Unfortunately the Bills didn't use him much on crossing patterns where he was a killer. Lee Evans almost never had an opportunity to break tackles. Reed had some non-sense mythology about being a YAC guy. That is only because he played RB at LSU. In fact he was awful with the ball in his hands.
