he was on the opening day roster so he is getting paid for the whole year.

Plus I think that makes 3 years of service so he can get the pension

Start saving your bucks, TJ!

thats good. He seems like a great guy. I bet someone will pick him up this season. So many injuries already around the league.

Yeah he`s faster than me. Ha. 4.43 isn`t blazing today.

I know what you mean though. There is 4.43 football speed. And there is 4.43 track speed. He didnt look to be a burner on thr field. He didnt run passed people or really outrun anyone.

Until Graham learns to CATCH the ball he will not play in this League. I still am always shocked that Graham feels necessary to jump and catch all balls in the middle of his chest and he has no skills to catch it like a professional receiver with his hands.

@thadbrown7

Ex-#Bills WR TJ Graham had tryout with Jets this week. #Billsmafia

Not at all surprised. He has chances left because he possess an NFL skill. I threw Carolina out there as an option but Arizona as their #4 would also work. Arians loves to sling it around the field. KC, Jets or SD could use him too off the top of my head. He provides some value for the reasons mentioned in earlier posts.

His family was fun to tail gate with. And very proud of him. At least he has that going for him.

He could find moderate success perhaps in the CFL.

maybe with some better coaching even in the NFL. They let go last years WR coach pretty quickly after the season last year, Ike.

But being cut from the Titans was not a good sign.

TJ Graham can't catch a damn thing. Never could. Glad he's finally gone.

This. My favorite TJ memory was Bills-Browns last year. The game where everybody kept saying how much Tuel sucked. Bills had the ball on their own 40 yard line. Pass play, TJ going up the right sideline. Tuel throws a beautiful 40-yard rainbow, right into the bucket. Hit TJ in stride, both hands, and he dropped it. The Bills lost the game on that play right there, but all that anyone remembers is that Tuel sucked. Yeah right.

We MOVED UP to pick TJ, and lost another pick in the process. With Russell there waiting to be picked. A QB who could be groomed under Fitz. But no, Buddy knew better than we did. I mean, how bad does TJ have to be to get cut from a 1-2 team?

Face it. The receiving talent on this team has been poor since 2004. Last year's group of receivers may have been the worst of the last decade. Getting rid of TJ and Stevie was addition by subtraction. This year's group is way better on paper, and once they establish the chemistry with EJ, they are going to crush what last year's group achieved. For those comparing last year's receiving crew to this year's, let's all remember that SCOTT CHANDLER was the leading receiver last year. Buh bye TJ.

It looks like obviously you need more then speed to make it as an NFL receiver. I wonder if he gets picked up by any team, or if his short career is over? With Easley out is there a chance we re-sign him? I don't really see it, but stranger things have happened.

no way we re-sign him, glad we traded up two whole spots for an "athlete"

I can't believe this thread exists.

TJ Graham is not a football player.

The Book is out on him. He runs fast but can't catch.

The Book is out on EJ. Looks like a QB from central casting, afraid to throw ball in a game.

If you defenses would cover TJ freaking Graham with a CB in man coverage and a safety over top you must have lost your mind.

Defenses would just let him run know EJ would never throw it Nd if he didn't they would connect.

it's up to TJ and EJ to prove to D-Cos they would need this type if coverage.

These hypotheticals are just the worst because there is Nfw the Bills would sign TJ !@#$ing Graham. He is just the worst "WR" the Bills have had this millennium.

He doesn't need to make many plays. He needs to be covered down the field with help over the top. His skill set adds value. He helps open up the underneath stuff and aids in the running game. Nobody is signing TJ Graham to catch 100 balls. He will end up on a roster that lacks a speed guy to fill that void.

I have argued on this board (with little success) that he would help this team more than CH (especially with today's rules). If he made 6 plays this year down the field (4 catches and 2 PI penalties) he would be infinitely better IMO. If he could add 40+ yards once every 2.5 games that is a bigger contribution.

i respectfully disagree. There is no threat when the WR can't do what he is paid to do, Catch the Ball. By having him out there we are playing with 10 players on the field vs. 11. He cost us games in the past.

I'm so glad he is gone. We have speed in Goodwin.

easley had a couple of year injured with non-football stuff IIRC. last couple of years he has played every game, no?

To find a guy to replace Easley it would not be a WR, it would be a tough ST linebacker....

Easley is not really a WR at all in the NFL. he is a pure specialist in ST play.
