Whoops... Zero pts. Whose pulled off that legendary feat ?

I'm still at zero... Probably where lurking more than posting helps me out. I think and say bad things about posters out loud instead of typing them lol. I can't tell you how many times I've typed out a post and then not put it up.

I guess that is just my opinion...not a hard and fast rule. It's actually been done by several people, with thousands or tens of thousands of posts, I don't think it's such a hard thing to achieve.

How can you effectively moderate when you don't fully understand the pathology of a rule breaker? Who make the best IT security experts? Former hackers. Who make the best casino pit bosses? Former cheaters. Like they say in Training Day, a good narcotics officer will have narcotics in his system most of the time. There are countless examples from other popular movies where those most effective in thwarting rule breakers were on the other side of the fence not so long ago. Beverly Hills Cop, Silence of the Lambs, etc.

It stands to reason that if you empower the most prolific violator of the TOS and effectively render them above the law, that they will be the ideal moderator.

I can't argue with this logic.
