Keukasmallies Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 A manned mission in space is in the offing. http://www.foxnews.com/science/2013/04/16/first-manned-mars-mission-draws-flood-applicants/?intcmp=HPBucket I'd like to see Harry Reid, Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi make the trip. Just imagine the wondrous things they'd develop given the time they could spend discussing the affairs of the world. Who would you pick as voyeurs (Ooops, make that voyagers)?
mrags Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 (edited) Probably Jim in Anchorage. ;-) Edited April 17, 2013 by mrags
Beerball Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 I'd send Poojer. We haven't had a decent "hot for alien, wouldya?" thread in a long, long time
JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 I'd send me. I think that would be the coolest thing ever.
mead107 Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 How long is the trip? Would hate to miss a Bills season.

Captain Hindsight Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 I'll take the second trip, after I tell everyone what they should have done the first time
keepthefaith Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 I think we could identify a billion people that should go

I would support that trio of pioneers, but I would insist on only supplying enough CO2 scrubbers and food for one to survive the trip back. Toss some hidden cameras all over the ship and watch the hilarity ensue.

That reminds me of some short story where a little girl sneaks on a one man trip her dad was taking to mars...only enough food and oxygen for 1 and she can't land the spacecraft...so he ejects her. Must see reality TV.
TakeYouToTasker Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 I'd love to go, working to construct the governing philosophies of a new civilization from the ground up.
