  1. Good assessment! It was a joy watching the game today and that's not always true, even when we are winning. Next up -- the Cowpokes.
  2. The best part of this is that both Alexander and Gore were signed to 1 year contracts. I don't see either coming back next year (possible for Alexander, but we need some youth there) and it's great that we are not committed for multiple years.
  3. I'm really confused and ticked off with this. The Bills give up on the run far to easily. Are our opponents really stacking the box so there's no option. If so, we shoud be able to accomplish more passing, so I don't think this is true.
  4. From what I have seen, and I admit I don't get to see every game due to where I live, Wallace has been outplayed by whoever he covers. I think that one of the Johnson's has to be a better choice.
  5. To answer the question "What's the biggest concern", I have three nominees: 1. The Offensive line (Guards in particular). There's not alot of movement shown in short yardage 2. Stopping the run - never should have been gashed the way Peterson gashed them, especially since the QB was in his first start and not a threat. 3. Levi Wallace - He's been getting beat too often. Granted he gets most of the action since teams stay away from White, but I like Johnson better than Wallace right now.
  6. Star L should be the guys sitting on the bench. He's shown me nothing all year.
  7. The Bills did not make the schedule and can only beat the teams in front of them. The Bills have areas to improve (i.e. short yardage offense, run defense, ) but overall look good.
  8. Josh played solid. As noted, the fumbles need to stop. Brown dropped one pass, but Josh missed him on the slant that would have been a TD. Still not sure how well he goes thru his progressions as he seems to lock onto the primary until it's too late to go to the next option.
  9. https://buffalonews.com/2019/11/03/you-dont-have-to-be-a-bills-fan-at-jimmys-old-town-tavern-but-it-helps/ Glad Jimmy's is getting some recognition! The Buffalo Wing that the article references is full of Buffalo memorabilia! I've frequented Jimmy's many, many times while living in northern Virginia. It's a great bar in general with good food, but especially great when Buffalo teams are playing. My first visit was my first night in Herndon, having drien there from Texas. I watched a Sabre's Stanley Cup playoff game (yes, it was quite a while ago), and had a great time.
  10. I think the Bills should wait a few days to see how the injured players recover in order to see where depth is needed. I am thinking it'l O-Line, but no reason to rush since it's the bye week.
  11. Like everyone else, I believe our punter is not on the team now. I also see them looking for a 3rd string QB. I think you need someone who is on the team and can come up to speed with the system in a week in case of injury to Allen or Barkley. Our current 3rd string is not up to playing this year.
  12. 1. How can you not love Matt Barkley. He loves the Mafia, is the perfect back upI too like the looks of Matt Barkley as our back-up. I am careful not to get too excited by pre-season efforts (remember the Peterman), but Barkley is a veteran who seems to be comfortable in our system and has performed. 2. Do we keep an extra WR? Other than a nice catch by Duke, and good work in the slot by Beasley, there has not bee alot of opportunities / accomplishments by the wideouts. Until I see more, I'll reserve judgement on this group.
  13. Thanks for sharing this picture @chandler#81. For any Bills fan my age, this is the ultimate memory of Mike Stratton introducing himself to Keith Lincoln. RIP Keith - you were a great player for the AFL in the 60's
  14. Good call! He reminds me a little of Jordy Nelson. You aren't sure why he keeps getting open, but he does. He also, based upon his college career, finds a way to get into the endzone.
  15. "Where do you think I can get the best Beef on Weck?"
  16. I believe he's scheduled for his yearly injury in week 4. I don't think we want all the eggs in the Murphy basket.
  17. TJ Hockenson - getting the best player at his position that is also a position of need for the Bills. Hope he makes it to #9.
  18. I'm all in for Dalton Risner, but obviously not at #9. If he slipped to us in round 2 or we trade down into the late 1st round, he would be good. I'd love TJ at #9, but not sure he'll fall that far to us. Not sold on Fant as I do not see any blocking in his future. Quentin Williams would be great, but he's not getting past the top 3 and I'm not sure about Oliver. I'm intrigued by Montez Sweat and would love him. In the later rounds, I'd like Love out of Stanford, but with the signing of Yeldon, probably won't happen.
  19. West Virginia'a Will Grier will be the 4th QB taken
