I'm also thinking Greg Roman could coax a good run game and middling pass game out of this team. Match that with our monster D and we'd be right in this thing. I'd go with Hackett. Although our offense was bad, it wasn't nearly as bad as this what ever you want to call it.

1. I grew up in Dallas as a YUGE Cowboys fan during the Tom Landry era. I rooted for them from 1960-1988. Then JJ came along and I didn't like him. but I gave him a chance for a few years. When they played I'd half cheer for them to win and half cheer for them to lose. No way to be a fan. Then I met my current wife who was from up there and a YUGE Bills fan. So i started watching games with her. Since they were good then they were on TV often. I decided, I can cheer for these guys. So I officially switched my fandom to the bills in 1996. 2. It's a family thing. My wife and daughter and I have a lot of fun watching the games and talking about them and making a few trips back there to see games like the Monday Nighter and Bears games coming up. I like how the guys play hard and as a team (most of the time). 3. Since I've only been a fan since 1996 I have no memories of the glory years except Jim's last season in 1996. Still can't believe we lost that playoff game to the Jaguars. Anyway. My favorite memory is probably something to do with Flutie. Or maybe Kyle rubbing the fish's nose in it going in for a TD to seal what we needed to do to get it. The opening day vs the Colts butt whoopin' the year after they went to Deflate Gate AFC Championship game was a lot of fun too. Or when EJ and company beat the defending SB champs Ravens. Lot of good times.

POLL. Derek Anderson chews out reporter in 2010

At least he didn't go all Dan Pastorini on him. -
AJ is a smart guy and been around a football fields and seen other QBs enough to know that Nasty Nate sucked and he would get his chance. If traded, he d probably get no chance. Doesn't make sense. Makes more sense to me that rookie GM Beane, thinking he's Ralphie's Dad at the Christmas tree lot, was thinking of all that cool stuff he could do with a 3rd round pick in March and forgot our line sucks and we got 2 QB s injured in PS. This whole off sea son/season has been a series of shots to the foot.

Sign Tyler "Hope and" Bray off the Bears practice squad. He's in shape. He's been practicing. AND we play the Bears in a few weeks. Win. Win. -
Derek Anderson to start vs Colts

Actually I meant next week when he goes up head to head vs Happy Gilmore again. But TDs this week are good too! -

I remember a PS game vs the Panthers a few years ago where he threw a long sideline pass to KB for a TD. KB was open because he pulled Happy Gilmore's hair on the way by slowing him up. Maybe next week. -
I'm always thinking playoffs til we 're mathematically eliminated. there will be plenty of time to think draft come January (or February ?). he looked like the same old Nat e to me. Especially on the sideline pass like the Jax pick in one of the PS games, only the scrub DB didn't catch it. Not to get political, but McDermott could take some advice from W.

Hopefully he can 300+ yards and a win like Kyle did in his first start. -

Woods, Watkins, Hogan and Goodwin
reddogblitz replied to RPbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
QB is the most WR dependent position there is. By stud WRs I mean 2 or 3 really good guys. Like what Atlanta, NO, Rams, Bungles, Ravens, KC, and Cardinals have for example. Rams have Woods/Cupp (who we could have drafted)/Cooks. Atlanta has Julio Jones and Muhammad Sanu and then traded up into the first for Ridley. They also traded up to the first to get Jones. AND they have Matt Ryan. And the team with allegedly the best QB last year traded a first round pick for a WR. sorry, we're going to have similar results until our "brain trust" figures this out. If you wanna compete with the big boys, you gotta have the WRs (and of course QB). -
Woods, Watkins, Hogan and Goodwin

I disagree. Obviously you need both. If you don't have stud WRs your team will never be good and your QB will never be good. that's my story and I'm sticking with it even it my "thinking is flawed" (it's not). -

Could be. But she'd be the first. He has literally beaten everyone else with that strategy including about 10 Rs and 2 Ds, 3 if you count Martin O'Malley . -

The Elizabeth Warren DNA report reminded me of Little Marco getting out his cell phone and reading tweets. reacting to Trump is a losing strategy IMHO. You can't out Trump Trump and you never will.
