  1. I'm not gonna list them all. but one that jumped out at me early on was that Republican Senators were trying to dictate the witness list. If they are, then both sides are. The other one that is not mentioned is are they going to interview Dr. Ford's husband? He is named in the statement by Ford. She says he remembers. (In best 48 hours voice), or does he? And if so, what exactly does he remember? as I saw someone say last week. This my just mean that be better remember or else LOL.
  2. Yet Justice Breyer was busted for under age drinking when he was in college. Seems to have worked out OK for him. Also, anecdotally, when watching his opening argument when he they stopped for a bathroom break I was switching around channels. An MSNBC host said "I worked for Justice Kavanaugh for 7 years and only heard him mention the work 'beer' 2 or 3 times. Now he's said it a bunch. We'll see what happens." I found that interesting. A good question to ask would be is he still a white knuckle drunk?
  3. Has he never heard the expression "low hanging fruit?"
  4. I have a friend who a few weeks ago before this stuff hit that fan when talking about Al Franken's allegations of playing grab ass on the campaign trail, she said it was just brought up by Republican women to get him in trouble. Now she says that one year ago you were afraid your daughter would get assaulted in a bath room. Now if she does you won't listen to her. And a lot of other ridiculous tweets. This lady is a flaming Democrat but somehow that doesn't matter. She has nothing to gain by lieing so she MUST be telling the truth. No word on what al Franken accusers had to gain. Nuts.
  5. This is the thing that blows my mind. We have US Senators saying an accused person has to prove they didn't do it. And if you don't have anything to hide, why not ask for an investigation? If you don't, obviously you have something to hide and we need to investigate. There are 2 of the most UN-AMERICAN comments one can make. And now of course about 1/2 the population say this sounds fine too.
  6. Mocking real American Viet Nam war veterans (heroes) is pathetic.
  7. Now that I've heard about her I hope O'Kavanaugh doesn't get confirmed. She might even be more fun to watch. See the people that need men to stand up eat one of their own. I go by the Molly Ivin's theory. You pay for all this so you might as well watch it and enjoy it.
  8. This goes along with my theory that O'Kavanaugh was a sacrificial lamb nominated as Red Meat for the Dems to beat up on for a while. Then when they are pounding their chest he'll nominate this person.
  9. Actually, this is what she said: https://www.cnn.com/2018/09/24/politics/new-york-times-kavanaugh-renate-high-school-yearbook/index.html
  10. What about the men that rot in jail after being convicted based on victim testimony. The innocence project has gotten quite a few of these guys off. https://www.amny.com/news/central-park-rape-wrongful-convictions-1.18439640 I am sympathetic as well but there has to be some kind of balance here. We can't just say survivors remember vividly what happen and are never wrong which I hear and read about. (There was an editorial in my local paper pretty much saying that this morning.) When there is evidence to prove that's not the case. But they should be treated better by our justice system and police.
  11. This ticks me off about the Ds. Here was a great opening where they could have caught him in an inaccuracy based on his own evidence! Dr. Ford said it was around the 4th of July. then on his own calendar it shows a party on a week night (it had to be a weekend) around the 4th of July with beer and PJ and Judge. Like you say the prosecutor even asked him about that date. Shortly after she was removed. I find that interesting. After that Durbin has his Rick Lazio moment and others questioned him and don't bring it up. Even the great former prosecutor was too busy asking him to ask for an investigation. they did Dr. Ford a disservice at this point. They should have been listening and asking questions about his testimony instead of grand standing and every single one of them asking him "if you don't have anything to hide, whey not volunteer for an FBI investigation" even though he said he would do whatever they wanted. I wish one of those time he would have just said NO. I'm the accused, not the accuser. Quote some legal thing about the presumption of innocence being a corner stone of our legal system or something. He looked like a fool. It was a travesty on both sides.
  12. who was pitching? Just kidding. But yeah, I remember some details from games around then I could tell you about. I went to a CA Angels at Milwaukee Brewers at County stadium i think it was. Robin Yount and Paul Molitor played for Mil. Reggie Jackson hit a grand slam. Probably 1986.
  13. Another of his beer stories I found kindof odd. Blumenthal asks about the Red Sox baseball game and a quote from him about falling out of a bus onto the front steps of Yale Law School steps at 4:45 and had to "piece things back together" as to what happened. sounds like he may have blacked out like he said he didn't ever do ever in his whole life. Kavenaugh jumped right in and was testy and went on a long detailed account of the evening including Roger Clements as the pitcher. George Brett was playing 3rd but actually was playing left field that night. Sounded like a prepared answer for a question he knew was coming. Like he looked up the game on mlbarchive.com or something. Really? he remember Geroge Brett playing left field in the game?
  14. Speaking of "suffocate...in the course of the crime", I was wondering if perhaps this alleged crime could be false imprisonment? He locked the door and then jumped on her and put his hand over her mouth. https://legal-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/false+imprisonment
  15. i remember him saying this, that it had to be a weekend. They had jobs so they couldn't stay out late and as a retired beer drinker thinking back on many parties i went to on week nights and had no problem getting up for real work (NOT mowing lawns). You can do that when you're going and bullet proof. too bad one of the Dems didn't notice that 7/1 entry. Probably too busy thinking of FIB Investigations instead of paying attention.

  17. Yeah. I caught this too. He loves beer and bragged about it and drank under age in high school, but never did not remember what he did the night before while drinking. Never. OK.
  18. Judge Judy doesn't even take statements form people she can't cross examine. That was kind of ridiculous. Especially coming from a Judge.
  19. He did say whatever they wanted to do, he was all in. I would think that includes an FBI investigation since that was what they were asking about. Why should he have to ask for it? Seems like something the accuser should be pursuing. Not the accused. But I'm still working from the presumption of innocence angle.
  20. Having been falsely accused and the subject of a non partial investigation by the local police once, I can say any person would be a fool to ask to be investigated by any law enforcement agency. As Uncle Joe would say, PERIOD.
  21. What's with the sniffling. Did Trump give him some of his coke?
  22. I went to a Catholic Jesuit High School and when he said that I literally LOLed out loud.
  23. It worked for Clarence. This is a high tech lynching.
