The Ryan Fitzpatrick Cycle
reddogblitz replied to PlayoffsPlease's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Last nights game reminded of many Fitz games when he was at the Bills. Threw for a ton of yards. Made some great plays. Had some drops. Had the guys fired up. When he needed a little help from the D he got nothing. Then when he had his big chance at the end he came up short. This game especially reminded me of the game vs the Titans at the Ralph in 2012 when we lost 35-34. -
Allen is a budding superstar
reddogblitz replied to Victory Formation's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Actually, the proper term is alligator arm. As in, Tommy alligator armed the pass to him in the Super Bowl. Great game by Josh. A little premature to call him a budding Superstar IMHO. Hopefully he doesn't get nipped in the bud as many before him have. -
This is rich. I heard Kirsten Gillibrand yesterday come up with the classic, "if he didn't do anything, what does he have to hide" in regards to an FBI investigation. I didn't do anything either but I sure as heck don't want the FBI running around "interviewing" my relatives and friends on a witch hunt with ZERO evidence. Which brings up something I read yesterday. Didn' tthe FBI already do an exhaustive search of his background several times when they did the background check for his security clearances? The thing that always gets me on these things is, don't they realize they are setting a precedent that WILL be used against them in the not too distant future.

How come Anita Hill is assumed to have been telling the truth then? I remember when it happened. I watched/listened to most of it live. There were holes in here story. She followed him from job to job to job. She was a federal employee. About as secure a job as you can get. Was also interesting that Ted Kennedy didn't say word. I don't know if she was telling the truth or not, but the assumption is she did and Clarence did it. I'm wondering if Kavanaugh will pull a Clarence Thomas and NOT listen to her testimony (or so he said). Worked for him.

Would you rather have: Mahomes or both Allen & Tre?

If I take Mahomes do I also get Kelse, Hi!l, and Reid too? -
Lost in all the celebration: The OL played well.

It was an improvement over week 2 which was an improvement over week 1 IMHO. I hope this continues. -
Jimmy G carted off with torn ACL
reddogblitz replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am kindof enjoying watching the glamour team that has been pencilled in for SB since November last year is cratering. John Lynch, Jimmy, Richard Sherman, they were supposed to be so good. So I heard all off season. -
Bills eating TONS of dead cap space
reddogblitz replied to CheshireCT's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
<sarcasm> That's alright. I don't mind pissing away one of the remaining seasons I have left (I'm getting older by the minute) or gobs of money on season tickets for a possible maybe. Winning is over rated. </sarcasm> -
OK. I never saw anything saying a "death panel" would deny you from going out and starting a GoFundMe or whatever and do your own thing. The whole "death panel" nonsense was just political grand standing anyway. Kind of like this whole SC thing is now. And the "kids in cages" a few months back. Why doesn't anyone care about "kids in cages" anymore?

Brandon Bean failed to provide Josh Allen a mentor
reddogblitz replied to GrizzReaper's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
True. this is just one of those age old football arguments similar to who was better, Hank Aaron or Babe Ruth. We all have our opinions but no one really knows. How could we? We can't one QB and do both to him to see which is better. Big Ben had a good team and a good coach and another experienced starter ahead of him. He didn't start out of the chute. And he was able to win one SB his second year in a game where he out and out sucked. So I think it's totally different. -
This is a fine distinction. So after having a deadly disease for a while you're likely out of cash, but when the insurance company cuts you off, you can go buy it somewhere else. You really think an average middle income family can afford this? Really? Paying for cutting edge experimental cancer treatment out of their own pocket? In other words, disconnect and die with dignity.
