Agreed. He got more than most of us get. I've had to give up several dreams in my life that I worked really hard for. But life goes on. I hope he saved his money.

The questions is though who would be better for the Bills this year, Tebow or Nasty Nate? Is this really a question? A guy with some success as an NFL QB with almost a 2-1 TD/Int ratio (17 TDs 9 Ints) or historically bad Nasty Nate (1-4 2 TD 8 Ints)? We could sign Tebow tomorrow and start him on Sunday and he would be better than Nasty Nate. Denver won a lot of those games due to late game heroics by Tebow. He may not be the best QB in the world, but he is a winner. I can particularly remember the game vs the Rex Jets. Denver had the ball down by 5 or something and they knew what he was going to do but he still beat them. I'd take that at this point.

beane better hit big or else I don't see much chance he gets axed this year. However, say we go 3-13 and the we start 2-10 next year, seats get really hot and he may not survive the season.

he didn't strike out on Denver. He won a playoff game by throwing a TD pass in OT in the PLAYOFFS. They signed one of the greatest QB s ever. he STILL hasn't thrown as many picks as Nasty Nate did in 1 half of football.

Nasty Nate was pulled at the right time. He was starting to fall in to old habits of ducking and chucking. If he were allowed to stay in he would have thrown a couple of more of those.

Who had a better chance, Nasty Nate or Cardale Jones? And Cardale was even drafted higher. Nasty Nate had a much better chance than most non first round rookie QBs get. and he screwed the pooch much worse. He should never play another down for the Bills. I wouldn't even trust him on kneel down.

Is this a new phenomenon? That's OK, I'm still laughing at the 22 teams that DIDN'T make the playoffs like we did.

There's a fine line between "giving them enough time" and going down with the ship. They need to be showing decent progress in order to stay 5 years IMHO.

Did Tasker miss last year's game? I suspect Coach Lynn to blitz the pants off of Josh. Last year he watched Nasty Nate's pre season tape and determined he was not good under pressure. What do you think the Cincinnati game tape will tell him about Josh? It's gonna be up to Daboll to dial something up that takes advantage of the that. Screens or roll outs or something. Extra tight ends. RBs doing pass pro. This 4 or 5 wide no tight end nonsense will be a recipe for disaster IMHO.

that first game was really bad. But then again we had 3 games like this IN A ROW last year and still made the post season. It's just one game. One game at a time.
