  1. At least a decent part of this is their own fault. We are spending cap space on guys that aren't even on the team anymore like Hotrod and Dareus yet the positions they play are huge holes. Would seem to make more sense to pay them and get their services as opposed to paying them and not.
  2. If they do waste this season to get even better draft capital next year, then they better either make the playoffs in 2019 or get VERY close or their seats will be getting very hot if they still have seats that is.
  3. I'm gonna disagree wtih this a little bit. Sure, they weren't planning on losing Wood and Incognito. But Wood retired on JANUARY 26th. This was WELL before draft and FA. they could have done something better on the Wood replacement but chose not to. It's on them for bad decision making and player evaluation. Especially when they have their new shiny franchise QB to protect. I'll give you Richie who retired in August.
  4. Williams had a plan Mularkey had a plan Buddy Nix had a plan Dick Jaruron had a plan Chan Gailey had a plan Tom Donahoe had a plan Doug Marrone had a plan Doug Whaley had a plan Rex had a plan And now these guys have a plan. I started out with these guys off the band wagon until I saw reason to get on. I did last year. Another start by Nasty Nate and I'm back off til I see reason to get back on. I thought we had found guys that didn't need to gut the team in order to get all new guys in order to get close to .500 when they get fired in 2 to 3 years. It's a results business. Show me some results this year.
  5. I thought he was going to get in when Carr came up hobbling with that ankle. If Carr doesn't clean up his act pretty quick, Chuckie will go with AJ. He's a Chuckie kind of guy.
  6. He's needed at Hammers. We got a game Sunday.
  7. Go for it. Go BILLS !!
  8. I'm sorry man. I can't for the life of me adopt a loser mentality like that. We were good last year, there was no need to fly it into the ground like it appears so far anyway they have done. Coach McDermott made his team over perform and and BILLIEVE for once and make the team greater than the sum of it's parts. I expect him to do the same this year.
  9. So? that was on JANUARY 26th well before FA and the draft. They had plenty of time to do something but chose to do what they did.
  10. True. he made some good Plays. He made some bad plays. I think it's fair to say that if the ENTIRE Clowns team and coaching played better, they would have won.
  11. If you win, you make more money.
  12. Is it too much to ask your kicker to make a chip shot? football is a team game. EVERYONE has to do their part, even the little guy that's not even a real football player.
  13. Dumb ole Hotrod shouldn't have missed that chip shot FG. What a loser. Good thing we dumped that guy. That way we can get all those passing yards with or great new QBs!
  14. How come last year he didn't say "Hey, it's our first year".
  15. I find this one particularly irritation. Sounds like a mealy mouthed excuse and weak. Literally every coach pulls the "gotta watch the tape" schtick even though most of them have probably never even seen a "tape".
  16. I agree to all that (especially the bolded). Sorry about calling you out on the details thing. I know dealing with wives can be difficult Cool. Go BILLS !!
  17. OK. I'll agree to that but I never said anything remotely like we traded Steve Young. I wanna straighten that out because I know you're a stickler for details. Not caring what guys did in the past in real games and instead going by pre season stats is among other things what got us here, but carry on.
  18. why should they get a pass on that? They found about that on January 26. Well before the draft and Free Agency.
  19. Literally every coAch does the "gotta watch the tape" shtick. Chan Gailey used to do it. Chuckie did it tonight.
  20. Houston's coach didn't last year Chan Gailey didn't either in dumping Trent after 1 game. It's better to admit a mistake and try to rectify it than to go down with the ship.
  21. Still waiting? Ok, you are right that Nasty Nate had more passing yards. However I tallied it up in PS and I was right, the Bills scored the most points when AJ was under center. AJ 38 Nasty Nate 26 JA 19 And AJ had the longest pass play at 62 yards. But to me the tie breaker is that in regular season play, AJ has 6 TDs and 2ints whereas Nasty Nate has 2 TDs and 8 ints. I hope that was worth the wait.
  22. No, that's your opinion.
  23. He's already been give more opportunities than Brian Brohm, Levi Brown, and Cardale Jones combined.
  24. I always thought once we broke the drought it would be time to win, not time to rebuild. But this is not really different from what we've don the last 2 times we went 9-7 before and when we made the POS before that. 2000 - Made the playoffs 2 years in a row but lose inhearbreaker PO losses. Time to reload and make another run? No, run off the QB and rebuild. In 2004 we had a really good defense and a team that came back from some bad losses due to "push outs" and other bad calls. Then won 7 out of last 9 or whatever it was. Team has some serious mojo workin'. time to reload and made a run? no, time to cut your QB and rebuild with a second year QB and re do our Defense. 2014 - We have a great run and get to 9-7. time to re load? No, time to rebuild again. This time the QB left on his own. (Not tirelessly bills fault). 2017 - We break the drought. Won 5 out of last 7. Serous mojo. Time to re laod and make a serious run? Of course not. It's not what we do. Run off the QB and go with a 2nd year guy and rook. If I though the Bills could actually get worse on purpose to get better and actually get better I might be for it. But I don't. What do they say about doing the same thing and expecting different results? Nobody shoots themselves in the foot like the Buffalo Bills. I don't know that and I call BS. The Team didn't win because they were lucky, they won because they came together as a team and were better than the sum or their parts. they stoppped finding new ways to lose like they had for years. Found ways to win instead. Down 7 with 3:00 to go vs Bucs, we win by 3. Snow game we win instead of losing like past teams would have. that's a good thing. I agree with pop gun. We should have re loaded and made a run for it.
