You said they didn't have more with McCarron so they cut him. I think they were wrong in thinking that. We have not see the last of AJ in this league. You know what? Yesterday the 2 scrubs that weren't good enough for us that started for other teams were light years ahead of where our 2 young franchise QBs are. Maybe our problem isn't all QB, but in what we put around them? And how we coach them?

I'm not discounting it. I was thinking the same thing myself. I at least fully expect them to sign a FA QB. Kaepernick would be my choice, but seriously doubt that happens. Woodrum maybe o r Lynch or has been suggested, THADDEUS MAXIMUMS. Anybody just about. This isn't the QB Developmental League. We can't be embarrassing ourselves any longer. And, we are trying to win (or at least so I hope ).

this is eerily similar to what we did with EJ. Dump the vet incumbent starter. Sign a vet that can't get out of TC. EJ was a consensus project as is Allen. But now they have to start because they have no one else. Beane will be judged by now well the team does. If Allen does well but we still lose, he's toast. If we win the Super Bowl next year or the year after with Paxton Lynch, he will be golden for a few years.
