  1. He threw more TDs in PS than the other 2 guys and the longest pass play of 62 yards and the team scored the most points when he was in. He's a hard nosed competitor. You either got the fire in your belly of you don't which a QB HAS to have. He does. I hope we don't trade him. We are QB starved team and have been for a very long time. Trading away a guy that can actually plAy for a low round golden ticket doesn't sound prudent to me. Besides that with our line we will need bodies at QB. Might as well have a guy that can actually play the position instead of a TE of waiver wire guy. We ARE trying to win after all.
  2. I saw the first game where I thought he played well. The 62 yard play was especially nice. Clowns game he had no chance as Josh vs Bungles. Tonight he threw 3 TD passes.and we won. Bad stuff too, but he made up for it. He threw the most TD passes in pre season by a Bills QB and the longest pass play of pre season.of 62 yards. I'm going to watch the replay Saturday. I don't think he's horrific. I know you got your Nasty Nate Jersey ready to go, but we'll see ...
  3. I'm shocked I'm with the majority on this one with AJ. We need to get out to a fast start. AJ gives us the best chance to beat the Raisins. He prepared for 8 games against them in Cincy. he knows them well. He's the most NFL ready guy we got right here right now IMHO . He's a gamer. Comes through when the chips are down like tonight and in the Cincy playoff game. Based on things I've heard Coach McDermott say, I think he likes him. i just don't think Josh is ready. I really don't want to see Nasty Nate vs Chargers round 2. We can re evaluate after that.
  4. Would have been better to keep Hotrod. Sign McCarron. Draft Allen if you must. Out of those 3 and Nasty Nate you should be able to find a starter without going backwards at the.most important position, which we did. This pretty much what Seattle did when they found their guy. They kept incumbent starter Tarvaris Jackson. Signed Matt Flynn. Drafted Russel Wilson. Too late ...
  5. Yuck If we had some schmuck coach i might believe you. But if Coach McDermott got last year's team to the playoffs i see no reason to think he can't with this team too.
  6. I'm not counting him out as starter vs Raisins.
  7. It's like baseball spring training. If you can't be optimistic then, when can you be? 16
  8. Not so sure about the "should have" won games. Didn't really have much of that last year like we did in years past. Hoping that's a thing of the past. Past Bills teams would have lost the Snow Bowl and Bucs games.
  9. I'm gonna wait til the real games start before freaking out too bad.
  10. of if he had completed the 2nd and 13 play OR the next play.
  11. Jerry, is that you? Owners love pre season because they don't have to pay the players and they still TV revenue and season ticket holders have to buy the tickets. Lets go back to the way it used to be. 14 regular season and 6 pre season games.
  12. OK. I'm gonna go with Coach McDermott's decisions. He got a team to the playoffs that no one thought was possible. He obviously knows what he's doing. So I think he just needs to keep on keepin' on. And, it's pre season and it means less than nothing. It's about evaluating talent (which you can't really do in RS because you're trying to win), not winning. How many pre season games did Marv win? How many did the 0-16 Lions win?
  13. WE WON THE GAME. What do you want? If punting helps us win i hope we do a lot of it this year. Did you leave at 1/2 time vs the Oilers too?
  14. Totally. I swear. Some of yall sound like it's your first rodeo. Pre season doesn't mean nothing, it meAns less than nothing.
  15. I think he just wAnted to punt. He picks bubble guys on how they do on kicking teams. It's pre season. around here we just concentrate one one position. He has to consider them all. Is there really such a thing aS "momentum" in pre season?
  16. Fudds. Now we're talikin'. I already boycott In-n-Out because they don't have one in my area. When I go out town i curtail all boycotts.
  17. Jalen better watch out for the Gronk to drop a metal enforced elbow into his noggin when he's not lookin'.
  18. Results in 2017 indicates to me he knows what he's doing.
  19. Took 'em a while to catch on I guess. Even so, in his last year 8 out of the 14 he faced still hadn't figured it out. He wasn't the greatest QB in the world but we could win with him which is more than I can say about any other Bills QBs this century. Just win baby.
  20. I never saw the problem with this. Might have been hard, but it worked. Didn't fit in with Club Rex I guess. the firing mystifies me to this day. Especially after a game where the O scored 31 and the D gave up more. Rex worked in mysterious ways.
  21. Do you think anything besides Hotrod's performance affected last years drop of 97 points from 2016?
  22. You have to ask Rex about that. I have not idea. The only stat I care about are wins.
