  1. My wife thought she saw Smith too but upon further inspection I didn't see any majestic Redbeard in the suite, just Morse's Blackbeard.
  2. It's been a thing with him right back to Wyoming at least. He has a tendency to trust his athleticism and cannon arm over what he sees sometimes. Instead of taking what the defense is giving, he uses his ability to escape, scrambles around and forces a big throw which is a bad decision. It's hero ball.
  3. It would be even longer than that. The injury was 2 weeks ago today. By the time the Dolphins game rolls around it would be 5 weeks.
  4. Diggs will only turn 26 near the end of the season and locked in for like 4 more seasons. IF he were available I would absolutely be willing to pay the price
  5. That's actually how they planned on having any sort of warm water in the bathroom
  6. Updating the "quick list" as I'm pretty sure a few guys they have previously worked out have signed elsewhere
  7. No such thing as a must win game in week 3, but this is a game that a good football team does not lose. That's going to be the deciding factor for me this week. A win is going to have me leaning toward optimism for the rest of the year. Yet ANOTHER disappointing loss to the Bengals and I'll be expecting same old Bills
  8. I think it's like $3 or $4. Memory is a little fuzzy but I know I have paid the same price for a bottle of Diet Pepsi as a bottle of Aquafina (desperate times call for desperate measures) when getting my DDs their beverages over the last couple years. Definitely more than you want to pay, but definitely less than the $6 or $9 mentioned above
  9. Yards per punt is not the best way to measure a punters effectiveness. Net average is a more accurate representation. If you punt from your own 45 but the punter puts it in the end zone, that's a 55 yard punt with a 35 yard net. Now if you can pin it down and knock it out of bounds at say, the 10 instead, that's a 45 yard punt with a 45 yard net. Wile did do pretty well there. 11th in net average behind mostly who you'd expect - guys who have been the best for years (Hekker, Morstead, Andy Lee), the two Pro Bowl punters from last year (Brett Kern from TEN and Michael Dickson from SEA) and some younger guys just breaking into the league the last couple season who also look pretty promising (Sanchez from IND, Dixon from NYG and Johnston from PHI). I think he's worth a look. But his holding troubles are worrisome
  10. I don't believe that Pitts is eligible for PS anymore. He was here for two full seasons and dressed every game as a special teamer, but he wasn't a rookie when he came here. So I'm pretty confident he has too much accrued time to be eligible
  11. How do you know it wasn't a decision reached entirely in the last two weeks? His "calf injury" has been dragging on for months. I'm guessing it was actually a Kevin Durant situation (Achilles being called a calf injury) and he hoped it would have healed by now. When he was faced with the possibility of playing this season with the current injury, which likely came with a higher risk of blowing the tendon, decided to call it a career. I can't blame him if that's even partially true. He just went through a 2 year rehab on his throwing shoulder. To stare an Achilles rehab in the face right after that, when you're able to just walk away relatively healthy? Yeah I could see where your mind might change even just a couple weeks from the season.
  12. If it were a position player I would agree. This is merely a shrewd cap move. Why pay a $1.5 million cap hit for Allen if you can get a rookie for around $500k?
  13. Always thought Gregggggggg was a 3-4 guy but yeah now that I have had my coffee they sure were
  14. I've seen that he's only interested in playing 3 technique so unless he has absolutely no suitors I'd actually cross New England off the list since they're technically a 3-4 base. I'm assuming contending teams will be most interesting to him now that he's free of the constant mediocrity of the Bucs. Indy is a great fit. They have money to spend, run a 4-3 and should have a desire to upgrade their defense. Cleveland has cap space and is moving to a 4-3 under Steve Wilks. Dallas is always considered a contender even though they aren't really...maybe Seattle?
  15. Counterpoint: Clowney is miscast in Houston's 3-4 base D and is a much better fit with some monster potential as a 4-3 DE
  16. Take the L and move along Brandon But but but but they talked bad about Buffalo! ?
  17. They do have content for both fantasy baseball and basketball as far as I know. I can't speak to the quality of it because I don't play but I know it's out there
  18. Do you follow teams other than just the Bills and Sabres? If so then absolutely, yeah. I'm a Braves fan also so I'm getting daily content on them. There's top notch league level reporting and columns for all of the major 4, plus college football and basketball and pretty good fantasy football coverage too
  19. What week does he retire then?
  20. Guess they should sign him multi year then and just wait until 2020 for production. A one year deal is a no lose situation. Their cap situation is fine and he will be motivated to perform well so he can try to cash in on free agency next year.
  21. They're moving into win mode. Anyone who can contribute positively in 2019 should be in their plans. A one year deal could be mutually beneficial.
  22. I can't think of any interior DL off the top of my head in the 50's but all D-linemen get the same pool of numbers (50-79, 90-99) so it's possible. edit: Of course I thought of one immediately after posting. Vita Vea wears #50. Danny Shelton has worn #55
  23. Trent Richardson who dominated the SEC and Alfred Morris who showed well at FAU would like a word
