  1. Ezekiel's the backup MLB. Haggan is too slow and too big for the Tampa 2 defense. The only other problem I had with the first post's cuts was Geisinger, who's been taking snaps as the 2nd string center, allowing Preston to focus on playing guard.
  2. A true freshman, in his first game, who was only thrown into the "starting" kicker's role last week, when the 1st kicker hurt his ankle. Nitpicking about a kicker in the NCAA is rediculous. It's hard enough for an NCAA kicker to get into the NFL, a kicker with a high talent level would never, ever want to come to a program in the state that UB is currently in.
  3. Yeah Kelso still lives locally, he coaches at Jim Kelly camp like, every year. I remember seeing him on Adelphia Channel 13 for the Monsignor Martin Championship game in '04, I think the game was St. Mary's vs. Archbishop Walsh of Olean
  4. That's not their original kicker. The "real" kicker's name is McGroarty and he was out with an ankle injury.
  5. Yeah their ability levels are completely off. Also, Pinkston's still on the mend from a ruptured Achilles last summer, and has been battling tendonitis in BOTH Achilles during training camp.
  6. The Vikings are definitely interested in Branch. They're also interested in Todd Pinkston who just got cut from the Eagles (Brad Childress connection). They're desperate for a "veteran" receiver to add to their crazy-young corps.
  7. To be completely honest, I've always seemed to balance between the two of them. But this year, it's different. I'm sick of the Bills breaking my heart. Sabres first, Niagara University basketball 2nd, Bills 3rd.
  8. Greg Jennings (Packers - Western Michigan) is looking like he's going to prove you wrong. The staff in GB loves this kid and are already calling him "special".
  9. It rained. JP got the majority of the snaps. He's starting against the Convicts this weekend. That's all they showed on the news.
  10. I don't like the new rule, but hey, whatever they have to do to make it safer. I guess.
  11. Positives: Lionel Gates Kyle Williams Sam Aiken Negatives: Kelly Holcomb Jake Delhomme ripping us a new one.
  12. Getting off the QB battle for a minute... Did everyone catch the part that said Andre Davis has been the most consistent WR and that the coaching staff has been impressed with his separation on breaks? And Jauron said that you can't teach speed and he's been excellent at WR and on ST? Doesn't sound like a cut to me...
  13. Haha forget that. Snap it on "the goose". Catch them off guard even more.
  14. Exactly what I'm saying. Signing a draft pick when the two picks around him are signed can't be hard. #7 Michael Huff: $15 #9 Ernie Sims: $12.1 Add them up, divide by 2, you have the offer to #8 Whitner: $13.5 or $13.55 million WELCOME TO THE IVY LEAGUE BOYS!!!!
  15. This becomes the question: Did we get super-speedy WR's because JP throws a good long ball? or Did we get super-speedy WR's so JP can't overthrow the long ball?
  16. Let's look at this from the other side: Levy said Whitner's contract was "right in the middle" of Huff's and Sims'. Huff is getting $15 million guaranteed. Sims is getting $12.1 guaranteed. The Bills offered Whitner $12.9. How is that "right in the middle"?? Right in the middle is $13.55 million. Whitner supposedly is asking for $14 million. Offer him the TRUE right in the middle salary of $13.5 or $13.6, and I bet he'd take it in a heartbeat.
  17. My fault. But still. $16 billion in profits and they're greedy for 100 million? I found it on Forbes' site: $43.62 billion was actually their revenue for 2005, not profit.
  18. Did you just call Domanick Davis great???? .....and who is Brad Morman?
  19. That's last quarter, not last YEAR. I assume every quarter's profit is not the same, but if it is, they'd be making $16 billion in profits/year. 100 million represents 0.1 billion. What's the difference between $16 and $15.9 billion in profits? Less cushy office chairs for the Board of Executives? EDITED: Wikipedia has TimeWarner as a whole, and their 2005 profit was listed as: $43.70 BILLION DOLLARS.
  20. http://nfl.viewerlink.tv/ Go to that, fill out your information, and it will send an e-mail to the General Manager of your local cable company basically stating: "I want NFL Network on my cable lineup, or I will find a provider who does carry it."
