18 - I had a good amount in confidence in JP at the beginning of this season, and I still have a relatively decent amount. I'm all for letting him develop and play, but I think the most essential part of his development is placing a real NFL caliber line in front of him.

I'm not sold on Samuel, but give me Johnson, because what you said is completely true. He's a starting caliber, receiving TE. Unfortunately for him, a freakishly athletic TE dropped into SF's laps at #6 in Davis, and they took him. Give me Johnson, find a replacement for Nate Clements elsewhere (DRAFT)

He hasn't made any plays in the last 20-something games, yet still calls himself a playmaker. Please. C - Fowler is decent, but it would never hurt to have someone to push him. Their true QB (Grossman) is back and in good form this year. We are not a playoff team. We might have a decent season, but we still have positions to upgrade and experience to gain. We, an average NFL team, got beat handily by one of the best teams in the league. JP got swarmed by an aggressive D. Willis got stuffed by an aggressive D. Our run D got ripped up again. All things that are: A) Not surprising B) Repeat occurences C) Occurences on a young football team It's going to happen. Whether you like to admit it or not, we're "rebuilding". Relax.
