  1. Well I had to account for the fact that some players mysteriously fall.
  2. I don't think another blocking TE is a necessity. We have a bunch of good blockers/average receivers. We need the opposite. I say the TE depends on the round. Round 2: Fred Davis or Dustin Keller Round 3: Martellus Bennett or John Carlson Round 4: Carlson, Rucker, Cottam
  3. Trevor Scott (DE) at #251! We need another high motor white DE! In reality, I hope both Scott and Jamey Richard get drafted.
  4. I'm going to go with option A because option B is not available to me thanks to the cable company giant that decided to pull it from the air when they took over. (FU Time Warner)
  5. We dealt the 71st. Minnesota dealt the 73rd.
  6. I'm going to follow your lead. I like the Chiefs trade. It may be a little much, but I would also like to see a trade up made with the extra 3rd round pick after the trade down. Something like Bills move up to Atlanta's #37 for #41 and #82 OR if Stewart and Mendenhall are gone.....Buffalo moves up to Seattle's #25 for #41 and #72/73 (and a 4th rounder IF necessary) So my 2 scenarios would go like this: 17. Devin Thomas/Limas Sweed 37. Brandon Flowers/Antoine Cason or: 17. Devin Thomas/Limas Sweed 25. Aqib Talib/Mike Jenkins/Antoine Cason
  7. It would work for me also. Getting that extra 3rd round pick gives the ammo needed to get back into the late first or very early second to get another guy. The McCargo trade was for our 2nd and 3rd, and the Poz trade was a swap of 2nd rounders + our 3rd. But we still picked in the 3rd round both years (Youboty and Edwards)
  8. Word out there right now is that with their 2 first-rounders, they want to get a top-notch D-lineman and O-lineman. Obviously they will get one of them at #5, most likely a D-lineman, whether it be Ellis, Long or Dorsey. The problem is that by the time #17 rolls around the top OL guys, Long(obviously), Clady, and possibly even Otah AND Williams will be gone. At #11 I would say at least two, maybe even three of those guys will be available (I see Clady going to Denver at #12) Meanwhile, the other hot rumor is that the Eagles LOVE Jeff Otah, so they may be interested in leap-frogging Denver, Carolina and Chicago to ensure they get the guy they want.
  9. Trading down and drafting Thomas or Sweed would be my ideal scenario, but I suppose I could settle for anyone who isn't Malcolm Kelly.
  10. Moving from #11 to #17 would give us the ammo needed to pull a similar move to the McCargo (#26 for #42 and #73) or Posluszny (#34 for #43 and #74) trades of the past two years. Both years the front office decided to move back up into the late 1st/early 2nd by giving up our regular 2nd round pick and ONE of our 3rd round picks. They have a willingness to move up, but only if it doesn't deprive them of being able to select once per round, or something close to it in the case of the McCargo trade.
  11. Malcolm Kelly, his temper tantrums and shaky knees, at #11
  12. I do. Thanks for that. Makes me feel a little better, should this happen.
  13. I don't want to draft ANY WR at 11, but if I had to choose, it would still be Limas Sweed because I think he's going to be a solid, above average pro WR. The only games he missed were those after the surgery in his college career. He produced for more than ONE season, which is my biggest knock on Devin Thomas.
  14. You know what would be awesome? If I couldn't watch a home Bills game on Thanksgiving night (or an away Bills game on Thanksgiving night for that matter) because of Time Warner. That would be most excellent.
  15. BJ Sams, P.K. Sam, either way, probably camp fodder if they were even signed. BJ Sams' wikipedia says he signed a 1-year deal with the Chiefs on 4/9
  16. Exactly how much homework have you done? Kelly has serious injury issues with his knees. Sweed played EVERY GAME until his senior season when he needed the wrist surgery. How does that become an injury issue?
  17. Ahh of course. I'll be on a plane and then away from any internet access for 5 days. Why WOULDN'T the schedule come out then?
  18. Are you implying that Saint Losman would lie to hundreds of children?
  19. When he spoke to the campers at Jim Kelly Football Camp, JP told them he transferred from UCLA to TU-lane (yes, that's how he says it. Huge emphasis on TU) because he wanted to get away from his family a little bit to give himself the chance to mature. With UCLA being so close to his home, it was like he didn't have to grow up if he didn't want to. He could have went and slept in his own bed any night, etc.
  20. My favorite part of this entire post: The new phrase "No doubt ably" and your vetEran QB Quinn Gray is signed. and Trent Dilfer is washed up as they can be.
  21. You are really good at writing run-on sentences. Punctuation is your friend. Yes, I think Sweed will be a good pro. yes, I hope he's a Bill.
  22. Whatever. This could help them return to some form of disciplined play. SU box scores will no longer include stat lines like 5/21 FG, 5/8 FT, 18 points, courtesy of Donte who takes every possible shot. They're still coming back with Flynn, Harris, Onuaku, Devendorf and Rautins.
