  1. NFL News is now reporting that Boldin was moving all his extremities on the field and wanted to get up, but the doctors wouldn't let him. http://blogs.nfl.com/2008/09/28/cardinals-...f-on-stretcher/
  2. Fowler fired straight out and attempted a cut on the Rams LB. LB tried to sidestep, but Fowler's shoulder pad caught the LB's ankle and he went down. Ref immediately threw the flag. I don't know if it's against the rules to cut an LB, if so, the flag was deserved. If cuts are legal, then it's wishy-washy
  3. Big drive right here. Let's get some points before halftime. Or even get the tie.
  4. I think it was Kerry Rhodes who got Boldin in the head with the initial hit, and Eric Smith gave Boldin the second, lower (legal) hit and got hurt himself
  5. I saw the play live action. Did not like the look of it at all. Big pops, took a hit from his left and right, high and low, and his body just dropped hard. Too reminiscent of KE's injury for my liking.
  6. Throw the hanky, stripes. It's in that pocket for a reason
  7. Was a nasty, nasty hit on him. Turned the channel to Fox on the Bills' commercial break in time to see that play and it was bad. Warner threw it high, Boldin went up and got hit left/right high/low with the high hit near his head and the low one in his ribs. A Jets player was hurt on the play also.
  8. Yes, flexible scheduling is for Sunday night games only. Monday nighters are stuck as Monday nighters. For good reason too, could you imagine the issues it would cause in all aspects of the planning process of an event like that with only about 2 weeks to change everything?
  9. I am pretty sure the weather for the Seattle game was forecasted to be beautiful and sunny right up until late Saturday night/Sunday morning. We all know how that turned out.
  10. I know you're making this up because the Jags don't have fans. The seats in the stadium today were filled with Bills jerseys, droids fitted to look like Jags fans and tarps with corporate ads on them
  11. I agree. Too early to talk playoffs. Today was an ugly win in many ways. But good teams win ugly games and good teams beat teams they aren't expected to beat sometimes. If you want to even seriously contend for a wild card, you have to beat the ones who you're contending with, such as Jacksonville, Tennessee, Cleveland, etc. ....The teams from the last few seasons may have had a CHANCE at the wild card, but come on. How many threads did we read around here with all these 7-step scenarios for the Bills to get the #6 seed that were so complicated because we lost to the teams ahead of us? Today was just the first step. There's still 14 games to go before anything is guaranteed.
  12. Force out rule is no more. I think his toe may have been out, but it would be tough to call it conclusive. But these refs seem to have no qualms about making awful calls so...
  13. Because we've had so much to be positive about since the Home Run Throwback
  14. JAMES HARDY LIVES Edwards has looked good today. ST has been horrible.
  15. What did the TOP look like for the 3rd quarter like, 12:00 to 3:00?
  16. Aaron Pro Bowl Schobel with the excellent tackling
  17. I'm fairly sure if Matt Jones would have made a one-hand grab there, there would have been some serious disappointment around here.
  18. This is the difference maker this year. Last year the D would get eaten up and then the offense would come and put up a 3 and out, which led to the D getting eaten up for another score. Need the change to happen now. Scoring drive is necessary right here.
  19. A penalty on the first play of the half? By this officiating crew? NO WAY
  20. PAAAAAAAAAGING COPELAND BRYAN your jock. Garrard just made you drop it on the field. Pick it up, let's play football. MCGEE BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. Watch him be held every play. Try to produce when that is happening to you.
  22. So was Mitchell by #85 and Denney by Tony Pashos. Mitchell's blocker had a hand on his back and on his shoulder pad. McCargo got grabbed around the waist. Pashos literally grabbed Denney by his jersey and shoulder pad FAR outside the body.
  23. Using that play as an example, because everyone tries to tackle the guy standing up instead of breaking down and using fundamentals
