  1. That game is almost certainly going to be on Saturday that weekend. NFL Network gets to pick 3 of the following 5 games and set them at what I am assuming will be 1:00, 4:30 and 8:15, the other two stay on Sunday. Houston at Tampa Bay Buffalo at New England Detroit at Denver Oakland at LA Chargers San Francisco at LA Rams Not really a great slate. BUF/NE and SF/LAR are easy picks for the best two. Really unsure who they will take as the 3rd game, but I think DET/DEN can be safely eliminated
  2. With KC/NE in the 4:25 slot already I think we can lock BUF/BAL in at 1 to be honest. CBS will be more than happy to show Chiefs/Patriots to the entire nation
  3. There's no chance they're flexing the LA market out of primetime for Buffalo. It's not a slight against the Bills either. Same reason you'll almost never see an NFC East game removed from SNF no matter how bad the teams are.
  4. @ CLE -- W @MIA - W DEN - W @DAL - L BAL - L @PIT - W @NE - L NYJ - W 11-5, first wild card, face the AFC South winner (likely Houston if Brissett misses any time for the Colts)
  5. Two seats in Row 16 for sale, $150 for the pair. Back corner of the tunnel end zone on the Bills sideline. Pricing is firm, selling for a less tech savvy Bills fan who wants to sell to Bills fans as opposed to listing on a third party site. Delivery via transfer on the OneBuffalo app. DM for any questions. Sold this morning go Bills
  6. Ooooh boy this is a good one. What kind of fan am I? I'm a fan who went to their first game in 1994, but was too young to remember that it was Kelly vs Favre. The first game I remember, Todd Collins was QB against the Jets. I'm the type of fan that has watched nothing but mediocre at best QB play for their entire life, and often it's less than mediocre. I watch other teams with so much jealousy at how easily they throw the ball while I watch a team content to win 17-14 all the time. I reckon with how frustrating it is to be a Bills fan frequently. I expect the worst almost every season because they haven't ever provided me with anything else. But still, I watch them every single week. I rarely turn a game off before it's over. I can't quit them, I just have to deal with them and hope some day they're actually good for a sustained period of time.
  7. Atkins is a good player but is he stout against the run? I've always had the impression he's more of a disruptor and really good interior pass rusher. Kind of like the ceiling Ed Oliver is supposed to have. Joe B did a pretty nice article on The Athletic yesterday with potential 1-technique targets. They're the guys you don't really hear about much because their role by nature keeps them off the scoresheet. Not going to steal the man's work but he lists 7 players and their justification but here is the top 3 Andrew Billings, CIN Mike Purcell, DEN Dalvin Tomlinson, NYG
  8. They should be because the Star/Peko tandem at 1T is uh...not great, to put it lightly
  9. Duke is the depth guy. He's looked fine in his limited role in two games, but he's not dynamic or any type of threat to stretch the field. He's the type of WR you want to bring on the field in the red zone or when you need to move the chains, and hope that if he can't get separation, that he can use his huge frame to shield off the defender and make the catch. But with his speed (or lack thereof) he's not threatening the defense at all. And with Foster inactive, no one but Brown, or Andre Roberts who has barely played WR for the past few years, has that ability. That would be a big element added to the offense. Defenses wouldn't be able to sit on underneath routes or shade to Brown's side on deep routes if there was another capable player opposite him. AJ Green (injuries aside) obviously fits the bill but will be costly. Anderson does too. DeVante Parker has flashed a bit this season but would be another in-division deal. Just seeing now that Dante Pettis might be moved that could be an intriguing flyer, he would be a change of scenery lottery ticket kind of like Zay Jones going to the Raiders. I just want to see anything other than a practice squad guy out there as a starter. I don't want to see this team waste this opportunity with this soft schedule
  10. One fairly common injury last year (turf toe) and one this year due to crap field conditions when the Bengals chose to practice off campus. But sure he's useless and we should keep running a practice squad WR out there
  11. To be fair this injury is entirely the fault of the Bengals themselves. They decided to practice in Dayton on subpar surfaces and he got hurt there
  12. To be fair that was his first year as a ref and both the Bills and the Giants were in peak douchebag form that game. He's also called the following Bills games since then: 2017 home/season opener vs NYJ Wild Card game @ JAX 2018 season ender vs MIA
  13. I'm not freaking out, I'm just saying it was a bad matchup for him. He's played well since he got plugged into the lineup, but every DB has their kryptonite. Wallace just isn't made up to be able to cover a WR like Williams in man coverage and that's okay. My original post was more of a "Let's not freak out about Wallace getting the brakes beat off of him by a UDFA WR" because this isn't your typical UDFA WR.
  14. I am definitely not on the "build up the defense even more" train, but yeah, Yannick Ngakoue would be a crazy good addition, both short and long term
  15. I don't think it's just the size/strength of Williams that got the best of Wallace. Williams was undrafted, but he was undrafted for being a turd off the field, despite having massive talent on it. Wallace was undrafted due to his limitations as a player and a matchup like this shows it.
  16. I'd feel better if at least one of the backups was a guy who had played some LB in the league or something but Stanford and Maurice Alexander are career special teamers and Thompson is a UDFA from last year who is probably following that same path. Small nitpick for sure, but it would be nice to have one guy at the position you knew could step in and play.
  17. They're very good with Milano. They are not very good with "Maurice Alexander". LB depth is a problem.
  18. My best guess: Singletary, Kroft and Nsekhe in taking Yeldon, Sweeney and Bates out. Sinorise Perry takes the "extra" spot on offense where Zay was active vs TEN. Yeldon Sweeney Boettger Bates Milano J. Johnson T. Johnson or Corey Thompson
  19. I think both rosters are full now. Went to the Bills transaction log. Rosters were full for the Patriots game. Since October 1: 10/1: Released Veasy from PS, signed Easley (full PS, full 53) 10/3: Cut Conor McDermott from the 53 (full PS, one spot on the 53) 10/5: Signed Duke Williams to the 53 (one spot on PS, full 53) 10/8: Traded Zay Jones, signed Sinorise Perry to keep the 53 full. Also signed Wyatt Ray and released Byron Marshall from the PS, leaving one spot, which Veasy filled today.
  20. 2021 is locked in since they play the whole AFC South. Even better news; there's an off chance that they're going to be back there next year. The Bills site has AFC South same place finisher as a 2020 away opponent along with the division games and the AFC/NFC West rotations (Cardinals, 49ers, Raiders, Broncos.)
