One thing is for certain, whatever their method is, none of their staff knows how to watch a football game. I've said it many times: There's a reason NFL players, coaches, scouts,, and GMs watch hours of film. If stats told the whole story they could cut their study time to virtually nothing by printing out stats, meeting and going around the room.

Adam Gase went into the Jets front office & told them that Darnold outplayed every other QB and that he's the only coach Darnold will ever need. Meanwhile Woody Johnson is over in Britain going over a binder full of coaching prospects while his brother tries to get Woody Trevor Lawrence as a welcome home present.

"If this works, then stats really are for losers, I guess." Stats are for losers. Point proven in 2020. Their stats make a strong case that Mason Rudolph is better than Allen

Lmao, Tyrod’s gonna start another football game ?

Coach Lynn said Tyrod gets his job back when healthy. https://clutchpoints.com/chargers-news-anthony-lynn-clarifies-starting-qb-situation-after-tyrod-taylor-injury/ #Chargers coach Anthony Lynn on Tyrod Taylor: “If he’s 100 percent ready to go, he’s our starter.” -
Credit to the whole Bills organization some of whom flew out in the Pegula plane to meet Josh before the draft & Beane & company who had Josh rated as the top QB in the draft. After the Tyrod trade, Cleveland was in a better position to have Josh sit his rookie year than the Bills who had McCarron & Peterman as the 2 guys who Josh could sit behind. As it turned out, even though the O-line & WRs were both among the worst in the NFL, I think playing as a rookie helped Josh's development. For the record I'm in the camp that you can't ruin a QB by playing him. I also believe that someone with Josh's mindset can't be discouraged by adversity.

I was so impressed by the Minnesota game that that week I went out & bought an Allen jersey at the local mall. I figured I didn't have to worry about him leaving the team for at least a decade. I wanted Josh to start opening day in Baltimore as a rookie & I was sitting in the stands getting drenched in the rain & when I saw Allen enter the game I went crazy cheering. He's always been my QB.

Browns figured out why they lost to the Ravens

Pretty simple answer. They had the #1 pick in 2018 & chose the wrong QB. #Wrong Baker. -
A Tale of Two Quarterbacks

Get real, there is no way in the world the Jets are releasing Darnold after this season. The GM will load up on WRs in the off-season He can't be judged when he has the worst receivers in the league. -
What are you cooking today for the game?

The Bills won, I'm not going to change things now. -
What are you cooking today for the game?
Albany,n.y. replied to Brennan Huff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Microwaving a personal pizza as I do every gameday when the game is on local TV, as it is today. One of the advantages of this routine is that if you ask me what I ate before a game that I watched at home, I always have the right answer. -
I wonder if the opt-outs are having second thoughts

No. I was talking about players. Take a look at the most important position-QB-not one starting QB opted out. -
I wonder if the opt-outs are having second thoughts
Albany,n.y. replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They had a story about the constant testing & monitoring with tracking bracelets on the broadcast, might have been the pre game show. If you saw it you would know what I'm referring to. -
From what I saw on the broadcast last night the NFL is doing a great job with testing & monitoring. I'd like to know if some of the opt-outs are regretting their decision. I can't imagine giving up 1 year of a short career and then realizing that their fears were not justified. It's too late for them to change their minds, but should the NFL open up a window of opportunity for the opt-outs to return now that they can see how closely the teams are monitoring things? Earlier this year I had a commitment to work a month for the town I live in. I was very concerned when it was decide that we would have meetings 2-3 times a week. When I got to the 1st one I saw they had given us separate tables at least 6' apart in a big room. My fears went away & I was able to fulfill my obligation. If I had opted out & then heard how safe our meetings were, I would have regretted opting out. I wonder how many NFL opt-outs would come back if given a second chance.

Projected TV games shown in Albany
Albany,n.y. replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It was even better in the 1990s because here in Albany they when the AFC network was NBC they used to let us vote for the games to be shown & since the Bills were much better than the Jets, we'd usually win the voting. It also didn't hurt that one of the guys in charge who instituted the policy was a Fredonia grad from Buffalo. Once they moved to CBS the voting stopped. -
We should get 9 or 10 games in Albany this year. 4 of them are national night games and a 5th (12/19 or 12/20) is a to be determined game which could turn into a national game. The games we should get are: Week 1 NY Jets Week 4 @ Las Vegas Week 5 @ Tennessee Week 6 Kansas City Thursday Night Week 7 @ NY Jets Week 9 Seattle Week 13 @ San Francisco Monday Night Week 14 Pittsburgh Sunday Night (could lose it if flexed, hopefully Pittsburgh will stay competitive enough not to get the game bounced) Week 15 @ Denver if it becomes Saturday national broadcast Week 16 @ New England Monday Night
