  1. Romo is very good and huge upgrade.
  2. This era of the Patriots will be remembered as what killed the NFL. We as Bills fans have been seeing this for two decades but now the nation sees it too. Sad and disappointing for anyone that has been a fan through all of this. I'll be directing my "dollars" elsewhere.
  3. A guy like Braden Smith (Auburn) or Tyrell Crosby (Oregon) would fit in great as starters right away. Other guys like A.Corbett (Nevada), C.Gossett (App St) and S.Welsh (Iowa) would be other guys who could add depth and develop on the interior line too. Incognito is not young, Wood is average and Ducasse/Mills is not working. Dawkins is the LT of the future.
  4. Mayfield looks good in the system he plays in but will have some significant limitations that probably will surface in the postseason draft process. He compares to Manziel in the way he can make plays happen in that kind of offense and also in some of the attitude he shows on and off the field. He'll probably be there in the second half of the draft and could be successful in the NFL if he goes to the right situation as he's gotten to at Oklahoma. There are two franchise QBs in this draft (Rosen and Darnold) and then everyone else that could develop into starters. I agree with a post above that Clayton Thorson would be the best fit if Dennison is the OC and McDermott is the HC going forward. He has size, tools and plays smart to develop into a solid starter down the road. He probably will come out this year and could be gotten late in the 1st or on the second day of the draft probably.
  5. He's smart, accurate, has a good enough arm and the ball will come out on time. The O-line will be asked to block for less time on pass plays and receivers will get the ball as they separate. Questions have to be whether he's ready for Live NFL action and if he has enough tools to be successful week in and out. The coaches must have seen enough to think he's ready now. Go Bills
  6. DT- Vita Vea (Washington) Lowell Lotulelei (Utah) BJ Hill (NC State) Trenton Thompson (Georgia) DE- Bradley Chubb (NC State) Harold Landry (BC) Dorance Armstrong (Kansas) Duke Ejiofor (Wake Forest) Marcell Frazier (Mizzou) LB- Josey Jewell (Iowa) Skai Moore (South Carolina) Tegray Scales (Indiana) Fred Warner (BYU)
  7. Just traded a problematic, rotational, 2 down NT that was a $100 million mistake. The Bills will be ok this season as long as they can stay healthy. C.Thornton was a great pick up. Have to think the Bills will take two or three players in the 2018 draft to address the DL though.
  8. The next five games are key. All winnable games that could put the team in a position to be confident and strong to finish in the divisional games down the stretch.
  9. Guys like Lowell Lotulelei (DT-Utah), Josey Jewell (LB-Iowa), Nick Chubb (RB-Georgia), Billy Price (OL-Ohio St), Allen Lazard (WR-Iowa State) and Anthony Miller (WR-Memphis) could be nice building blocks for the future to look at in the 1st three rounds.
  10. Nick O'Leary has been very consistent and thought he played well. Zay Jones made a great catch in the end zone but was out of bounds. He did drop one and had one he got his hands on but was over his head. Just seems like him and Taylor are out of rhythm. Still think he has a bright future and will have the bye week to work on the rapport with the QB. Don't think the WRs were the reason the Bills lost the game. The OL and DL didn't win enough in key moments. Taylor was ok but needed to be better in the red zone and late in the game to win there. And AJ Green is on the best receivers in the game and can win games...he showed that.
  11. The Bills have 6 picks in the 1st 3 rounds of the 2018 draft. He and McDermott have removed the guys who are not 100% interested in the Buffalo Bills winning every Sunday. The team is 3-2 with wins over some of the best teams in the NFL and has a chance to win a lot more this season. That's about as good anyone could have hoped for about 6-8 months ago. He just started and has a lot more to do. Let's look at his work in a couple of seasons.
  12. This is the key stat for this team and the way they play. Taylor is late on throws because he's being so careful. He took some sacks yesterday that were on him probably. Have to score TDs in the red zone, especially in the second half of a close game. With that said, they still had a chance to win in the final minutes on the road against a talented and motivated team. Tough loss but Tyrod Taylor is playing well enough for the Bills to win against any team they play.
  13. White did a nice job on him with the exception of a few plays. Green is a great player but the Bills have one of the best young corners in the league.
  14. This offensive scheme doesn't need 2 1,000 yd WRs. The TE (Charles Clay) and RB (LeSean McCoy) get a lot of passes thrown to them and need to produce. This is the best Clay has looked as a Bill. One of the receivers needs to step up and produce in Matthews place. This is a great opportunity for Zay Jones.
  15. Could be a great opportunity for Zay Jones and Matt Milano.
  16. Watson will change the Texans franchise and be their guy for a long time. Obviously he's got it as he showed in college and HS. It's a long season though and defenses will confuse him later in the season in a few games for sure.
  17. White will be a good player for years to come. The additions of Hyde and Poyer were huge.
  18. WGR has needed changes for years. Has to be someone better out there than Schopp and Bulldog...
  19. Run the ball consistently and good 3rd down decisions from the QB. Would like to see Zay Jones win some 1 on 1s and make a few plays. Stop the run and contain big plays for the most part on D. Continued great game preparation from Coaches. So far looks like the most prepared and focused Bills team we've seen in a while.
  20. Tough Matchup.... Have to try to run the ball and control clock on offense. Defense has to stop the run and limit the big plays. The turnover battle will be huge.
  21. Whitworth was a huge pickup for them. Other than him, like the Bills O-Line better and TE. They have talented receivers. How good their offense is will depend on Goff and his development. Their defense can be run on but it's a fast defense with a lot of talent. Like the Bills safeties and D-Ends better. LBs are a draw... Woods is a solid player but not a star...he got paid a lot of money to be that. Sammy Watkins will probably have a big year as he looks to get a long term deal this offseason but still think Bills Fans will be happy with the trade long term. Overall their final records should be close but its a long season.
  22. McCoy should get a lot of touches every game with DiMarco lead blocking and a lot of double tight end/H-Back sets. As the season progresses have to look for Zay Jones to become the #1 target capable of winning 1on1 matchups down the field. Clay and O'Leary should also be solid targets. As long as he stays healthy, should be a 2,000 yard from scrimmage season for McCoy.
  23. A top 5 rush offense...top 15 defense...top 10 in turnover differential...compete for a playoff spot
