  1. The Geno Smith 1st half last year against the Bills was right there for worst ever but today was bad no doubt. He did battle and credit the team for hanging in there. The biggest BUST is a bold statement considering guys like Aaron Maybin and Mike Williams.
  2. Awful call but the Bills never should have been in that position.
  3. No doubt a tough game with all of the injuries. The Bills have to be able to run the ball and play great D to win.
  4. Josh Reed was a really good player and Woods will have to produce a lot more to be as good as Reed was. Reed was probably better after the catch but Woods is pretty good and going up and grabbing the ball in traffic. Time to move on from Goodwin...he's fast and that's about it. We knew what Harvin would be when he was signed so no surprise. Dixon could be a good fullback maybe. It's probably time for the Bills to look at the O-Line in the offseason again. Miller and Incognito have been good. S.Henderson and Kouiandjio can still get better and be starters yet. Have to look at C.Glenn, Wood and Urbick...are these guys what they want long term? They've all been average to below average at their respective positions for a while now and are well paid or want to get paid.
  5. This is a great opportunity for guys like Robert Woods and Chris Hogan. Maybe Easley can catch some balls. The big thing they may need is speed to stretch the field. They must think Moore can do that. He did it in Oakland for a while. We'll see Sunday.
  6. He still has some really exciting tools for a NFL team to want to develop. He'll also be sitting behind an elite player in JT Barrett by the way after he already forced a really good player, in Braxton Miller, to move to WR. He'll be drafted in the next year or two when he comes out, no doubt.
  7. The Bills have responded to losses so far this season. The defense will be better, but probably still not what we were expecting before the season. The offense should be able to run and get first downs with a lot of ball control. Bills 24-17
  8. Very different game with different style defenses. Also, it was a low scoring game with the Titans with a lot more conservative calls. EJ did have that bad grounding penalty that pushed the Bills back to punt inside their five too. With that said, there is no doubt that Tyrod and the offense did not play well against Tennessee. If Tyrod were out there against Cincinnati, it would have been a similar result no doubt. People don't want to recognize this, but the QB position is not the biggest problem on this team for once and it's not holding them back. The defense, special teams and coaching hasn't been good enough in the three losses and that's it.
  9. I would love to say EJ should be the starter but its clear that this is Tyrod's job. There are three main things that separate him from EJ in this offense...accuracy, running ability and poise in the pocket. EJ had a decent completion percentage and yards yesterday but many of his completions forced receivers to stop and limited run after the catch. He also missed some completions he should have had. He was decisive, made some good calls at the line preplay and his arm looked live but what was most disappointing was his pocket movement. Maybe I am just used to looking at Tyrod, but EJ looked clumsy moving and was clearly easier to bring down for sacks. The Bills don't need Tyrod to throw for 300 yards and really he shouldn't most games. They need him to convert third downs, take care of the ball and make plays late in games that contribute to a win. The defense should be the unit that wins games for this team though.
  10. He had injury issues at Clemson, especially during his sophomore season. That's what made Hopkins such a high pick that year. Not sure if he's injury prone, but he is definitely not the most durable guy either.
  11. To be fair...the Bills have lost to three division leaders and beaten two of the teams the Jets have. The Jets have had a soft schedule so far but it's a long season. When they play some better teams, we'll see how they perform. They've proven they aren't going to be in the bottom third of the league at least.
  12. He does have accuracy issues. Stats don't tell the whole story sometimes. He missed several throws that should have been completions and had several completions where the receiver had to stop or dive to catch instead of making the catch in stride to add yards to the play. With that said, the loss has to be on the defense and special teams. Not sure which unit is worse right now.
  13. The Bills just need to rush four most of the time and mix it up to keep offenses honest. Mario Williams dropping in coverage should never happen. A few games back we had Jerry Hughes running 20 yards downfield with Rob Gronkowski...what?? Last week Kyle Williams dropped in coverage to spy Mariota...what?? What is the saying? Let's not reinvent the wheel here. Just do what the last defensive coordinators did with this already top 5 defense.
  14. I see Aaron Rodgers make that throw every week and people say, great pass. EJ Manuel makes that throw and our big time WR plants his foot the wrong and gets hurt so it's a poor throw...
  15. EJ did look more decisive and in control at the line of scrimmage before plays. His problem continues to be accuracy and consistency. He was better but still probably not good enough but really don't get all of the hate. The defense and special teams play awful but all of the talk is about EJ. Wow..
  16. EJ wasn't perfect today and he clearly has accuracy issues that aren't going away. With that said, how can the story of this blowout loss at home be about him. It's about terrible penalties, timely phantom penalties, a lifeless defense that makes no plays and the playmakers on offense getting injured.
  17. The defense is a mess. What happened to the D-Line? No plays of any kind and once again were beaten. This team isn't designed for the offense to outscore teams and throw it 40 times. People want to rip EJ, and he was up and down, but this loss isn't on him or the offense at all. Whatever they are trying to do on Defense isn't working and they need to get it worked out quick or it will be another offseason trying to figure out what it takes to make the playoffs.
  18. Lynch has helped turn the Memphis program around and won a huge game for the program and himself yesterday. He's winning lots of games and has only thrown 1 interception all season. He might be the best QB available in the 2016 draft and make an unexpected rise up boards similar to Bortles a couple of years ago.
  19. I really hope the kid steps up today and plays well. All Bills fans should be pulling for him..don't understand the hate going his way the way it has. Also think he'll play well today because they will be able to run the ball and use playaction to let him scan the field and find Clay/Sammy down field. Go Bills and EJ
  20. Bills 20-13. Sammy with some big plays and the defense comes up with turnovers.
  21. He was just doing his job. Any reporter would have taken those words and run with them. It really probably could have been a lot worse. Sammy needs to go out and do his job that he gets paid millions of dollars to do, play football. Last I knew, part of his job description is not complaining to reporters and throwing teammates/coaches under the bus.
  22. Hate the Cheatriots and Belichek but would Sammy ever be able to say something like that to a reporter in New England and get away with it in that clubhouse? Football is a team game and winners don't go to the media with stuff like this.
  23. A true diva...this is why drafting a WR in the top 5 is always a headache. This obviously needs to be said....but not to a reporter. Very unfortunate that he called out the QBs and coaches. He does need more targets, but he also needs to be on the field more too.
  24. Remembering back to when Thad Lewis almost beat the Bengals at home a couple of years ago. Goodwin had that big catch to tie it up late. Have to take care of the ball and be able to throw it down field like the Bills did during this game. AJ Green is good but have to watch Marvin Jones. He's had big games against the Bills and Jets in the past.
  25. He had a bad game trying to help block Morgan. Definitely needs to play better..
