  1. Rd 2- If E.Goldman is there at 50, he has to be the pick. Probably won't be, so R.Darby-CB-FSU in the second. Rd 3 - A guy like Carl Davis would be a great 3rd rd pick but should be gone. Maybe John Miller-OG-Louisville. Rd 5- Karlos Williams-RB-FSU Rd6a- Darius Kilgo-DL-Maryland Rd6b- Corey Crawford-DE-Clemson Rd7 - Chris Dunkley-DB-South Florida
  2. E.Goldman Carl Davis R.Darby-CB-FSU Mario Edwards J.Philips-DL-Oklahoma Jalen Collins-CB-LSU
  3. Sleeper: Ronald Darby, CB, FSU Also think Brett Hundley is being undervalued. He turned around a program and is at the same level in learning a pro offense and game as Mariota is. Both guys are a year or two away but Hundley can be had on day two with the same upside. Bust: TJ Clemmings, OT, Pitt Randy Gregory has flashed but never been consistently productive like the other guys ranked beside him at his position. He's high risk, high reward.
  4. There is a lot of young talent that needs to be developed on the O-Line from recent drafts. The first couple of picks should be used on guys that can develop behind a starter that has a contract coming up or is aging. Two areas would be D-Line and CB. Have to think if a top RB slips a little that could be an option too.
  5. Best player available at 50. These guys would be good options... CB Robert Darby LB Stephone Anthony DE Mario Edwards DL Jordan Philips DE Owa Ogdihuzwa DL Eddie Goldman DL Ellis McCarthy
  6. Don't know what he did to get all of the criticism thrown his way. It's not his fault he was a project, 2nd round QB, drafted in round 1. He needed to sit and learn but was never allowed that. I thought he exceeded expectations in year 1 and the plug was pulled way too quick on him in year 2. When he has a running game in front of him, he can play well like he did against the Bears last season or in several games as a rookie. He's at his best in play action. If he can't succeed in this system (with Roman) then maybe he is a 2nd string QB. Let the kid play and see what he's got.
  7. After the 2015 season we'll all know the answer.
  8. He has lots of potential and would have beaten out McCown anyway. It's crazy seeing some say that Sanchez would be better than EJ. He's had 50 starts and we know what he is. He's inconsistent at best and has lost games for good teams. EJ deserves several more starts before anyone judges him.
  9. He'd be a great pick in the 3rd round. Catches it as well as he can run it and played his best games against top competition. Had a great week at the Senior Bowl too.
  10. Putting him on 1 side and Gilmore on the other would make a great pairing. McKelvin, Roby and Graham could be depth and nickel situations. It would make the Bills D as good as anyone... Paying Revis all of that money though would make it almost impossible to see Hughes back.
  11. He could be an interesting pick for sure. Have to see how he runs in workouts. If he has some speed and acceleration, he could be compared to Gronkowski.
  12. David Johnson-RB-Northern Iowa
  13. Have to think Lawson will see more time on the field as strong side LB. Maybe Randell Johnson can develop and the be the future at this spot. Could be hard to keep Hughes on the field as a starter. He would be more of a situational pass rusher and tough to re-sign at the value he's looking for. Kiko and P.Brown start with Bradham first backup. Rivers might get cut. Mario would be weakside with K.Williams and Dareus. Re-signing a guy like J.Wynn would be cheap to be the third down lineman with depth from Charles, Bryant and maybe another draft pick or FA. This D will be tough in whatever scheme it's in..Go Bills
  14. How about Duke Johnson (RB-Miami) at 50 and Maxx Williams(TE-Minnesota) at 81.
  15. He's a 5 star recruit with all of the tools you look for to be a successful QB at any level. He never was able to put it all together at FSU and not so far in Buffalo. With that said, he got thrown under the bus this season. EJ basically took all of the blame for an offense that didn't block, get open, make catches or produce points. Any young QB deserves at least 20 starts before any judgement is made. RG3, who people here are talking about, has gotten 33. EJ is the best prospect the Bills can hope for, but they need to let him develop and live with the ups and downs that comes with. If they don't let that happen, its unfair to him and the franchise. The Bills need to bring in a veteran presence to challenge him but hope he wins the battle in preseason. Watching the Panthers play last Sunday...the Bills offense could look just like that with EJ. A big O-line that gets a push, run the ball with 2-3 good RBs and some vertical threats at WR and TE. EJ can run similar to Cam Newton. Combine an offense like that with this defense and the Bills could be a contender each year.
  16. Sanchez is a tough guy to even come back after that butt fumble business. He's not a good fit here though. Hoyer might be interesting because he's smart, mobile and has worked through a situation where a team is trying to develop a QB beside him. He also spent time in NE. Spiller is probably gone. In the 2nd or 3rd round, a guy like Duke Johnson might be available. He has the vision and hands that Spiller doesn't but has similar speed/agility. Hughes might get too expensive. Have to think the Bills will look to lock up Dareus and Gilmore long term this offseason. If Hughes doesn't come back, have to find someone who can fill that role at a lower cost long term. Maybe look at Adrian Clayborn, Kroy Biermann or Cliff Avril to go along with a young guy from the draft like Nate Orchard or Eli Harold.

  18. Hard to compare them... Looking at Sammy, not sure how many receivers in the entire NFL make that 43 yard play yesterday against Revis. He made Revis look bad and definitely has his respect. Coming up to the draft, word was that the Bills liked Beckham too and would have taken him at their pick if they couldn't trade up for Sammy. Both look like they will be impact players but Sammy still has more upside and that's why he was drafted higher.
  19. Schopp is awful. I've been out of town for years and have stopped listening for the most part because of him. I don't like him because he is negative, unpleasant and clearly uninformed with just about every word.
  20. He's an average to maybe above average Center in the NFL. He wasn't good enough this season, no matter who the guards were. Either he plays better or they need an upgrade and should shift him to RG again.
  21. The regression of the O-Line play is the most shocking thing about Marrone's 2 years in Buffalo. With all of the young talent they drafted, you'd think Marrone would have developed them into a cohesive unit that can run the ball at least. It's been bad..Overall offensive player development has been bad.
  22. If he can stay healthy and keep learning he'll be every bit as good as any receiver ever in Buffalo. It's just hard to focus the entire offense on a rookie and that's what the Bills have done. That's not his fault.
  23. The biggest disappointment with Marrone has been player development. I thought he would bring along talent, particularly on the O-line, like he did in New Orleans, NY and with Syracuse. He's not produced any Carl Nicks, Brandon Moore's or even Justin Pughs. He inherited a good young LT in Cordy Glenn, who's hasn't improved under Marrone. Whaley gave him 3 draft picks that had all the measurables and needed to be developed. One hasn't even been active, another was pulled and Henderson is playing like this because he came ready to finally live up to his hype. In fact, I can't think of any offensive player that has improved in the last two seasons. There are lots of players who have regressed to me (E.Wood, Urbick, Spiller). It seems like he just hands the defense over to a great defensive coach and let's them do their thing. Both Pettine and Schwartz have done great jobs. They have developed players effectively, like Kiko, Preston Brown, A.Williams, Dareus and Gilmore. He needs to win these last three games or show some young offensive players are developing under his tutelage. If not, he could and should be in trouble.
  24. Get the kid out there. Hopefully its clear now that it wasn't EJ holding the offense back like was said. The offensive line play has been disappointing all year, receivers are young and struggle against press coverage and the QB play has been inconsistent. Orton is a 8-8 guy and always will be. Like him or not, EJ has the potential to be better than that. We need to know if he can get there. Go Bills
