The top ten countries in population have the following breakdown. 5 claim soccer 3 claim cricket 1 claims American football and China claims basketball as their most popular sport. As far as TV viewership goes, soccer has to dominate as all the interest in the World Cup and the UEFA telecasts.

We had a great day watching the grandkids. My nine year old grandson is musically talented and I told him about the movie 1776. The adaptation of the Broadway play. We watched it on TMC and he loved it. I did tell him that the Continental Congress did NOT break into song and dance at various times. Today he is singing the songs. Last night we had a blast with "driveway" fireworks.

After being in Iceland and the British Isles for 2 weeks, I can attest that the NY Yankees franchise is a huge favorite. Yankee hats and tee shirts were THE most worn items. Of course I wore Bills shirts and got some comments on the cruise.
