It sucks because I’m sure he is a great and a lot of this isn’t his fault. McDermott put the guy in and he had no business playing. We love saying guys like JP and EJ are terrible. But they at least have nfl arms. Peterman does not. This is why preseason is both the best and worst. It’s awesome to have football back and on a bunch of days during the week. But you really aren’t getting an accurate view of how good players are. No real gameplanning, very vanilla schemes, against a lot of guys who aren’t going to be in the nfl. Good for Peterman for getting a paycheck but I’m so happy he isn’t on our team anymore. It was pretty funny watching him because it was so bad and so many fans pumped him up.

Jets fans are the worst.

I think it’s really hard to be a good dad/ husband and nfl coach. Personally, even with the great money, I think the job kinda sucks.

Well considering I’ve seen some people comparing Allen to Elway and saying he will better than Newton, no, that’s not unreasonable. I mean Cutler has all the tools like Allen. He just was a giant d bag who was a terrible leader.

My first game too!!! Took a metro bus from South Campus to OP with my mom and my brother. Literally sat in the last row of the stadium, didn’t tailgate (super young so it won’t have been fun anyways), frozen my face off, and had the time of my life. when you start off seeing your favorite team go to the SB, your standards get raised a bit. Basically I started with a supermodel and now have to pretend 5s are hot. ?

Yeah, the traffic leaving OP sucks. Add a rail stop and that helps with some of the traffic (and brings in money for the city). Also, with downtown looking like a real place, more people will go out after the game (especially after a W). I think some people are overthinking this.

At least, Jerry’s face is only 10 years old. But all those guys Will get paid. Elliott is a chipmunk who is a moron off the field but he is their best player. What about non guarantee contracts and cutting players the second they get hurt or are deemed replaceable? Huge W if we win. Big L for the Jets if we win. its still week 1 but it could set a huge tone for the whole season. Still, you need to take every game individually. I also like bringing the season into 1/4. Anything 2-2 or better sets you up for success.

It’s weird that we are all sold on Alle (67.9 QB rating) and claim Rosen is a giant bust (66.7). I don’t feel confident saying any of these guys are a lock to be good minus Mayfield, who might get arrested again. Long way to go. It would be awesome to see the AFC East as good division instead of the one that gives NE 5 bye weeks a year.

Always great for a local kid to get his shot. He also has position versatility, which helps. I had no idea The Little Irish had a player at ND. Aquinas is a great high school program.
