Vegas sets their lines to get people to bet. I don’t think they are good at all but they aren’t the tire fire they are made out to be. They had the 30th ranked defense, added a defensive coach and a better qb. I can see them winning 5-6 games, especially with good Fitz.

I don’t think they’re good but I just think people go overboard. They had one of the defenses in the nfl last year and managed to win 7 games (that completely surprise me). I think Fitz is an upgrade over their qbs last year. I also don’t think our team should be looking down their noses at anyone.

I mean every old guy thinks everything they did was so much harder and they were so much tougher. ?. But yeah, in high school, I had 3 a days (totally sucked). And obviously you don’t do the hitting. It just sucks when a star gets hurt during something completely meaningless for them.

4.5. I know Cutler and Tannehill are huge losses ? but this talk about how terrible the Fins are is going overboard.

I do not get the Ray Ray love. He wasn’t even that good in college; is small and kinda slow; and thinks he is way better than he actually is. This dude could be found on waivers at any point during the year.

God, the Madden stuff is so stupid. Everyone thinks they are better than they are. I really don’t think Allen or other players will be motivate that much one or the other.

Honestly, I’d rather just tailgate and watch the game at a bar or at home. You get overcharged for beer and food in the stadium, have to wait in lines for everything, and then it takes hours to get home. And normally, everyone is pissed off because the Bills lost. I think this will be a huge issue for the nfl going forward.

I mean if we switched roles, we would be pissed if they spend any time talking about the Pats who missed the playoffs 18 out of 19 years (how amazing would that be!).

He’s on the Chargers. And I wasn’t a Tyrod fan but this after the fact bashing is kinda pathetic. I got told we couldn’t have a worse passing attack than we had with Tyrod. Well we did last year. Dude was far from an elite qb but he made good decisions and we won more games than we lost with him. And not many qbs in our franchise’s history can say that. I mean he and the Jets could suck. But it’s just weird how much stock some fans put in practice reports (we are all excited). I just remember when I played, we would have terrible practices, coaches would scream at us and make us run until we couldn’t walk, then they would cancel the next practice because we suck. Then, we would have a great practice and they loved us again. I dont think the Bills in the 90s even practiced in training camp haha.

Did you not think they would be motivated? Fans overrate this stuff. These guys’ jobs are on the line every game. But I agree Tre and Micah seem like top 100 players. But I’m sure there are players on every team that think they are being snubbed.

I generally agree but 52%, 10 tds, 14 ints, 173 passing yards/ game, and a 67.9 QBs rating doesn’t scream great passer. Hopefully with better protection and receivers, this will improve. I do think some fans live in glasses houses. I do think the real interesting thing will be how both of these guys are coached against. I imagine they will both get spies, take contain pass rushes, and be forced to take shorter stuff.

Reminds me of a thread some posters started laughing at Mahomes for having a bad training camp practice last year. its great the access we have but it’s so overblown. You try things in practice that you might not do in a game. Also, it’s the time to make mistakes. And as we see every year, preseason really has no impact on the regular season. But it’s still football and it’s awesome.

Devil’s advocate: Allen played similarly and Jackson played on a playoff team. I do think Allen looks more of natural qb but without his rushing, his season would have been pretty awful. Both guys need to become much better passers.

This is what terrifies me about him. Some people just anointed after last year. Dude has a ton of ability but there’s a reason he was cut here, not claimed, and didn’t really play at Bama. I worry that in a big spot, he will have a huge drop. And I bet he does because drops get in your head as a receiver. But on physical skills, he’s probably our most talented receiver. Takes a lot more than that though.

Not really. I like you but you’re always wrong. I know you’ve said the same thing about Edwards and Losman. Concrete judgments about any nfl qb after one year are pretty dumb.
