Tyreek Hill Battery & Child abuse thread

Thank God he didn’t smoke weed or protest peacefully!!! Football is the greatest sport ever but what a joke the NFL is. The best part will be when a video comes out and then they have to suspend him. -
ESPN's "Future Power Rankings"
C.Biscuit97 replied to BigDingus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It’s hilarious how nerds dismiss ESPN. Louis Riddick and Field Yates are 2 of the smartest, non biased people working in sports journalism. -
He had arguably the best passing season of his career last year with a shoulder injury. Wilson is better but Cam is pretty damn good but he does a celebration when he scores so he is bad! Newton is going to destroy Kelly’s career numbers. If he wins a SB, he is a lock for the HoF. See this is what terrifies me. I think Daboll, who has been awful at every stop besides NE, is going to force fit Allen into a Brady type style. IMO, I think this will severely hurt Allen. He’s not that type of player. It reminds me of the hiring of Dennison (who had a better offense than Daboll) forcing Tyrod into a west coast offense. What good coaches do is place their players in the best places to succeed. Allen will never be a precision passer so why force him into that?

Ryan Leaf Hired by ESPN as College Football Analyst
C.Biscuit97 replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That’s a great quote. I think a guy like Leaf gets a lot more chances to turn it around than a “normal” person though. But props to him anyways. another athlete liek this is Chris Herren. I encourage people to check out his document on ESPN. -
I just think you are selling Cam so short. He dominant the best conference in college football (Allen didn’t even make all MWC). Newton set rookie Passing records (Allen averaged 172 yards passing/ game). He has been a big winner on every level. And hope you know I’m not directly this to you. But a lot of posters think it will be a disappointment if Allen only ends like Cam. Cam has been pretty amazing on every level. I think he had a “different attitude “ he would be appreciated more. But have a good night brother.

And I was just saying that we should be very happy if Allen comes close to the career Cam has. I always get it because I used to have crazy expectations but I do think some realistic goals need to be set. At this point, there is nothing to honestly say Allen will be better than Cam. It doesn’t mean he can’t but I think some fans are setting themselves up for disappointment. And i do agree Wilson is better than Cam. I thought he was a game manager but he single handedly carries that offense with average at best receiver and a subpar oline.

Nailed again! What has Darby and Bradham ever won? Oh wait. What good teams has Sammy ever played on? Oh. What about that loser Hogan? Oh no. And don’t get started on that chump Robert Woods? Clearly those guys were holding the Bills back!!!

I think a healthy Cam is top 10. I also think people underestimate how crappy his receivers - Kelvin Benjamin!!!, Devin Fuchess, Ted Ginn are some of his past number 1s. but either way, Cam’s resume through his first year on the nfl is on a different planet than Allen’s. Hopefully Allen gets there and I love the optimism but some of these expectations are out of whack. Let’s start with basic stuff like 3,000 passing yards and 20 tds before we compare him to hall of famers. Of course, I used to compare JP to Favre so what do I know! I would be so mad if Allen played like a guy who set rookie passing records, won on every level, won a heisman and MVP, and went to a SB. So mad!

The guy who set rookie passing records and won a MVP with his best receiver being Ted Ginn isn’t a thrower. Haha. It’s amazing how much Cam gets talked down here. He isn’t the best throwing qb but if Allen comes close to Newton, we will build a statue for him. And Wilson is a really accurate passer. He was 70% his last year on college. Also, because his size, he can avoid hits where big guys liek Allen, Newton, and Big Ben might not be able to. Newton averages 231.5 passing yards/ game for his career. Allen surpassed that number once as a rookie. I’m not even crapping on Allen. I just get amazed how undervalued Newton is here. He is a borderline HOFer.

Yup. We’ll get called haters (though I used to get called a homer so get confused) but it’s the truth. Fans get made that we get ignored by the national media (I mean we have been pretty irreverent and if the Bills are ever good we get a ton of love) but if we were in NYC (really NJ) or LA, we would have been ripped apart for that hiring process. Mans the funny thing is the Jets essentially have the same team as us. We just are under the radar, which is good in this case. And at the same point, if either team wins, no one will care. But such an untraditional way of hiring will leave you open to a lot of second guessing if you fail.

Good post. And you make good points. Honestly, if any team this, I’d question it. I just care the most about the Bills. I love the Pegulas for saving our teams. I think they will be great owners in time. But handcuffing Whaley with coaches and now hiring the head coach before the GM are normally ways to make certain your GM fails. head coach and GM are completely different jobs. I think SM has a huge say in personnel here. That’s fine with defensive personnel but I worry he has a big say in offensive personnel as well. Additionally, if they disagree on a player or if SM has a terrible year, how does Beane win that argument or fire him after SM helped him get the job? If they win, who cares? But this hiring process is really out there and opens yourself up for questions. Especially when you trade a pick to your former boss (Andy Reid) that turns into the nfl mvp. “A rising tide lifts all boats.”

Are you? Serious question. You’re such a catty teenage girl. Follow me here Sabrina the Teenage Poster. The Bills hire McDermott with Whaley. Then they go through the draft, fire Whaley, and hired the GM who was McDermott’s friend in Carolina. When you do a process that less than 1% of teams do, it leads you open to questions (but not by superfan Eball!).

Baldy's Breakdown (Tremaine Edmunds)
C.Biscuit97 replied to Buffalo716's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We lack that elite pass rusher like they have. I just don’t think Hughes or Murphy are good enough. Still a lot of very good pieces on the defense.
