  1. He played one year for a team that fired their OC 4 games into the year and promoted a guy who has never been an OC; had a defensive 1st time defensive head coach who got fired after one season; his star rb coming back from a major injury; one of the worst o lines in nfl; old Fitz (they drafted 3 wrs this year); and still had similar passing stats to Allen, who some are ready to put in Canton. Making judgement off any rookie qb’s season is kinda insane, much less that dysfunctional of one. And it’s the worthless preseason but he looked pretty good in game 1.
  2. RJ record with the Bills - 9 wins, 17 losses Flutie record with the Bills - 21 wins, 9 losses probably just one big coincidence though! One good performance. It was idiotic and some fans are so stubborn that can’t admit they were wrong.
  3. Clearly, Flutie who passed for 360 yards in his own playoff loss couldn’t have possibly put up the amazing 10-22 for 131 yards passing that RJ did. Flutie had his flaws but he wasn’t completely garbage like RJ. Weird that you don’t like the last 2 qbs who took us to the playoffs. They both had their faults but I enjoyed watching playoffs games and wins other scrubs like RJ taking sacks so he won’t lower his completion %. Actually, the defensive players are becoming smaller and you aren’t allowed to blast players the way you used to. It was a much more physical game when Flutie played. Why do you think little guys like Cole and Edelman survive now? They would have been killed back in the day. Much, much different game now.
  4. Agreed and Barkley is barely serviceable but he has a little stronger arm. It’s kinda terrible how many bad qbs there are in the league. Not many Frank Reichs out there.
  5. Yeah, my brother lived in Philly for a while and it just has an angry vibe. I went to Phillies games and they were cool but I have desire to support a Buffalo team there. gotta say Miami fans are awesome because there aren’t many of them and they don’t really care. Fun place to see a game.
  6. It sucks because I’m sure he is a great and a lot of this isn’t his fault. McDermott put the guy in and he had no business playing. We love saying guys like JP and EJ are terrible. But they at least have nfl arms. Peterman does not. This is why preseason is both the best and worst. It’s awesome to have football back and on a bunch of days during the week. But you really aren’t getting an accurate view of how good players are. No real gameplanning, very vanilla schemes, against a lot of guys who aren’t going to be in the nfl. Good for Peterman for getting a paycheck but I’m so happy he isn’t on our team anymore. It was pretty funny watching him because it was so bad and so many fans pumped him up.
  7. I think it’s really hard to be a good dad/ husband and nfl coach. Personally, even with the great money, I think the job kinda sucks.
  8. Yeah, very Stable situation Rosen had there. Can definitely see why he is going to be a bust now. Any rookie would have thrived there.
  9. Well considering I’ve seen some people comparing Allen to Elway and saying he will better than Newton, no, that’s not unreasonable. I mean Cutler has all the tools like Allen. He just was a giant d bag who was a terrible leader.
  10. Scottsdale is awesome. But it’s brutal temperature most of the year. I could never live there full time. And he would have been better hitting her. Nfl doesn’t care about that.
  11. Or Andrew luck and TY Hilton. ? seriously, we have a really good D (that’s what she said). Still think we need more of pass rush but it’s hard to take anything out of these meaningless games.
  12. He was a football player who couldn’t get into Florida State because of academic concerns! Free Shoes University!!!
  13. If they get offered a 4th, he’s gone. They probably would do it for a 5th. They should have traded him last offseason. His value plummeted.
  14. Worried not the right word but I wish he was younger and could chalk up his inconsistency to age.
  15. I mean that’s kinda interesting story for a preseason game. The guy from Buffalo who has been handed everything vs. the UB who made himself into a nfl qb.
  16. 5/7/94 thats the worry with Foster. It’s not like he’s some young player. He was 23 his senior year in college and couldn’t really crack the lineup.
  17. I love the Beasley pick up but he’s starting to sound like a bitter ex. Look how much fun I’m having without you Renee!!!
  18. My first game too!!! Took a metro bus from South Campus to OP with my mom and my brother. Literally sat in the last row of the stadium, didn’t tailgate (super young so it won’t have been fun anyways), frozen my face off, and had the time of my life. when you start off seeing your favorite team go to the SB, your standards get raised a bit. Basically I started with a supermodel and now have to pretend 5s are hot. ?
  19. ESPN is a dying network. Who cares what those idiots have to say!
  20. Josh Allen. Still not sold. ? but definitely Tyree Jackson. I don’t think he’s had a good camp but I saw a guy who looked like a NFL qb in college. I’d love for him to show something (but I guess not too much if we are trying to hide him on the practice squad).
  21. As a Canisius guy, they beat us down pretty good a few times when I played. ?
  22. Yeah, the traffic leaving OP sucks. Add a rail stop and that helps with some of the traffic (and brings in money for the city). Also, with downtown looking like a real place, more people will go out after the game (especially after a W). I think some people are overthinking this.
