  1. Woods was a baller. I think he is much better than Zay. He was tough and never dropped anything. Zay seems like the opposite of this. But I’m fine with him getting another year. but imagine if we didn’t trade up for Zay and just took JuJu or Kupp? ?
  2. He missed a bunch of games in college. https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/dk-metcalf-1.html
  3. Foot injuries are awful for receivers. He played well at the end of last year but he makes me nervous. Hopefully, it’s not serious.
  4. At the same point, someone needed to catch the ball. There are guys who get numbers but it doesn’t mean they’re good. But he’s a sunk cost so I’m fine with keeping him at this point and hoping he gets it. But McBeane are bad at scouting the receiver position.
  5. We did with Sammy and worried why Tyrod regressed. We should have traded MCCoy 2 years ago. But now, both guys are more valuable to the Bills than anything they would get back. Keep’em.
  6. MAybe it’s my bias to watching him play at UB, but I want the Bills to keep him. What did people expect? He was super raw coming out. But In terms of developmental qbs, he’s exactly what you want. And he fits really well with Allen.
  7. I hated the idea of us drafting him high because some people just fell in love with his combine numbers. I do think he is in a good place in Seattle where he will occasionally make some huge plays for them. But I don’t think he can ever be a 1. The guy i wish we took is Hakeem Butler. He would look great in this roster with the other guys we have and I believe has number 1 ability or a great compliment #2.
  8. Fair points but it was pretty obviously he was a disaster in Pittsburgh. Ryan Clark has been talking about how awful of a teammate he was for years.
  9. So since Sully said nice things about the Bills, we like him now?
  10. I agree with you a million percent (though maybe as some suggested he’s just trying to get out of camp. Training camp sucks for vets). I never wanted him and that’s why it is crazy these guys who preach culture tried to get him in the first place. I still think they need a true 1 and are doing Allen a disservice. But I guess we have to see this season play out. ✌️
  11. And this is why the preseason is completely meaningless. Still any football is awesome. Ryan Fitzpatrick is Joe Montana compared to Matt Barkley. And I liked Barkley the best in his draft. When he had to play for the Bears, he was on pace to throw 28 ints in a season! I get the excitement but Allen hasn’t proven anything and Barkley has proven he is a borderline nfl qb. You could do worse but top flight backup QBs aren’t sitting on their couch 7 weeks into the season.
  12. Beef on weck with 5 wings i really don’t pay attention to the oline unless it’s truly that bad. They looked solid as a whole. Was he really that bad? He definitely is beefy.
  13. It’s preseason. He is the most interesting story in the nfl. The sad sad part is that crazy man will still end up with good numbers.
  14. Who’s angry broseph? I had a great weekend and hope you did too. I’m just not delusional. We wanted that crazy person and got completely lucky he didn’t want us. It’s like that crazy hot girl you would give anything to date. You try everything to date here and she just laughs at you and says no. Then she ends up dating your friend and you are super depressed and getting laughed at by everyone. Then she burns down your friends house and keys his car. Then you are like, wow, I’m so glad I didn’t try and date that crazy girl!!!
  15. I was being sarcastic. We definitely need a receiver upgrade but AB is straight loco. I even joke when Pittsburgh was going to trade him that they would see him to Buffalo as punishment and they did just that and AB refused.
  16. There are people who praised Beane because he read the draft right and “knew” Oliver would be there at 9. honestly, sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good. But to pretend like Beane didn’t want AB to be on the Bills is kinda nuts.
  17. You believe the guy who didn’t want to come here over the GM who had his trade blow up in his face and have Buffalo get embarrassed publicly?
  18. Yes, there seems to be as some revisionist history here. If Brown wanted to come here, he’d be here pulling his crap. As someone who never wanted him in the first place and thought it showed how BS “culture” truly is (check the Antonio Brown to Buffalo thread ?), Beane got truly lucky. But some here will tout him as genius for not meeting Brown’s demands. For as talented as he is, he is a team killer. If he couldn’t happy in Pittsburgh, he is going to struggle being happy anywhere. But thank god he didn’t want to come here. Beane is a genius.
  19. You’re just rambling old man. ? I have no idea what point you’re making. Even though every single evidence shows Allen (a rookie so he gets a pass) and Barkley have been below average passers (significantly), they are really good? You’re the one going against the grain and you make no sense. But enjoy your night of watching Matlock reruns.
  20. Thank you. I’m not knocking Allen. I loved some of the throws he made. It’s just that everything in preseason should be taken with major grains of salt,
  21. So what stat matters then? All numbers show Barkley is barely nfl caliber (I’m fine with him as a backup but he’s extremely replaceable) and Allen has some of the worst passing stats in the nfl. Obviously this can all change but to just pretend like Barkley isn’t a bottom tier backup and Allen has made it at this point is kinda silly.
  22. Yeah, there is nothing that exists that proves this to be anywhere close than the truth. This is just a lie. Is this what Fox News told you to think? Well that would be Allen’s career high. ?
  23. No injuries is the biggest taken away from a preseason game. So that’s a W.
  24. Qb rating shouldn’t be compared either. It’s a completely different league with much easier rules for qbs and receivers. Kelly and those guys numbers would have looked much better in this era. I dont think a rational person can dispute that. I definitely won’t say he’s very good. He can be good and is probably middle of the pack in terms of starters. He certainly isn’t on Marino’s level. When Marino hit 5,000, 3,000 was the sign of a good passing season for a qb. Again, Blake Bortels beat Jim Kelly’s season high in passing yardage twice!!! It’s so much easier to put up stats now.
  25. It was supposed to link to the 3rd preseason against the Steelers where Manuel was throwing dimes. I could do this for a million average to below average qbs. Then the season starts, and it’s completely different.
