Willis McGahee retiring as a Raven
C.Biscuit97 replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Stupid player picked by a stupid GM. One of the most overrated Bills ever. That’s actually really good value for a rb. -
So let’s do nothing? And of course if you want to kill someone you can use anything. But guns make it a lot easier to kill a lot of people in a short period of time. Here’s a thought: try something. Ban anything more than a shotgun, rifle, or a pistol. It’s not going to stop everything but at least it’s something. And all those people who need those heavy duty weapons can join the military or police. Thoughts and prayers do nothing. I can’t believe we just accept this as normal. I wonder what what the response would be if the NRA building or NRA loving politicians conference gets shot up. Maybe that’s what it will take to make some changes.

Mitch Morse in concussion protocol
C.Biscuit97 replied to *******'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You might be right AFL but that’s what’s scary about people who suffer multiple concussions. They could sleep wrong and it could lead to one, much less play a sport where every play is described as a car crash. I would be really interested to know how much this played into KC not re-signing him. -
Steve Tasker is more of a HOF than Frank Gore. He was actually dominant at his position. ?

1). The nfl is such a dumb league 2) Steven Jackson looked like more of a HOF to me that Frank Gore. ?

Mitch Morse in concussion protocol
C.Biscuit97 replied to *******'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So if the guy the Bills just made the highest paid player at his position who had a concussion history might have gotten another one in the first week of camp, you don’t think the Bills would do everything in their power to keep it quiet. hopefully, this is nothing. But with head injuries and this guy’s history and what we know about them now, to not be concerned is basically putting your head in the sand. Sadly if you were a bettor, the safest bet is Morse will get another one. It sucks but that’s how they work. Hoping for the best though. -
Agree 100%. There isn’t much separation between the top and like 15. Mahomes did win some leagues though but it was because he was great draft value (of course I had him and Gurley and didn’t win ?). Agreed. I was in a league one year and someone took Tannehill in the 1st round. Spoiler already: he did really bad.

Disagree. He is a big time sleeper for a lot of “experts.” Qbs who run have a ton of value. Tyrod was a good fantasy qb. Allen will be drafted and probably in my leagues with Buffalo people, he will be a 1st rounder maybe 1st overall.

HOF Game: Denver vs Atlanta 8pm NBC
C.Biscuit97 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Every preseason I get so excited because football is back. And then the games start, they are terrible, and it’s like hurry and get to the regular season. But that means summer is over and then I get ?. Sets the tone for their whole season. Definitely betting the under. Tony had her with a lot less miles. Definitely isn’t worth billions of dollars in her prime. Also, I never understood the Lock hype. He’s so whatever to me. -
The Bills, despite knowing what a terrible and selfish, wanted AB despite all this talk of culture. If AB was like “I can’t wait to play for the Bills and I think Allen is the next Big Ben and I’m excited to be here,” he would have gotten a giant contract. If you believe anything else, you’re being delusional. The same posters who laugh at him in the Raiders would his biggest defenders if he was on the Bills. and since I never wanted AB because he’s an idiot, I’m fine with not having him. But kinda shows all the character and culture stuff goes out the window when you need to win. I’ve been out of the loop for a bit. Did something happen with OJ? He seemed so nice in Naked Gun.

Frank Gore never contemplated retirement
C.Biscuit97 replied to WhoTom's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Then the HOF is getting completely watered down. Is Matt Stafford a HOFer? Because he plays long enough, he will have crazy passing yards. Im absolutely amazed how many people here think Gore is a lock for the HOF. Y’all need to raise your standards. Dude has never even had an all pro or rushing title. -

I get what you’re saying but Smith is at completely different level than Gore. Smith, who may be overrated, is an all time great rb. -

I agree on his longevity but that belongs in a place for the greatest players in the history of the game? Did you ever watch Gore and think HOFer? I never did. He was a solid to good rb for a long time but he never jumped off the screen. McCoy did that. That’s what the HOF should be. -

I think so too but these HOFs have gotten way too loose with who gets in. I have never watched Gore and thought HOfer. Neither have most fans. But he’s had a long and good career and that’s amazing in itself. I think by that logic Matt Stafford will be a HOF if he plays long enough and I just think that’s wrong. -

That’s why HOFs are corny now then. It would be like Harold Baines getting in baseball. Again, very good player but I think your resume should be better than 5 pro bowls in 14 years, 0 all pros, and 0 rushing titles. -

Gore, while a good to very good player, is why HOF become watered down. Very few times have anyone thought of him as a dominant HOF talent. His numbers are high because he was able to stick around for a long time (a skill in its own but shouldn’t earn you HOF status). Imo, the HOF should be the greatest and most dominant players. I don’t think Gore, who has had a good and long career, Falls in that category. McCoy has a better shot IMO.
