I don't think Darnold is a bad QB. He had his career screwed by a terrible coach. He was never plug and play like people said, he just needed some development. I still think he could be a good QB. Hope the Jets trade him and he pulls a Tannenhill in the NFC.

I loved the game because the Dolphins and their fans had convinced themselves the division was going to be a 2-horse race for the next few years. @HappyDays I want you to think about what you just proposed and then imagine pitching it to McDermott, the man who openly wept at finally winning the division in his fourth attempt. Do you think he is capable of throwing a game? I don't think throwing a game is consistent with his overall philosophy, which is built upon the notion that we "find a way" to win in any situation. Fromm is essentially on ice for the season. Ironically, by maintaining an emergency QB all season, the team has also guaranteed that should they need Fromm to play he won't be any good. They basically chose to forego a year of development for Fromm in exchange for guaranteeing they will not have to play an emergency QB due to covid.

People who use unnecessarily big words on a message board are my pet peeve. It's a community discussion board, the goal being to foster discussion within the community. Choosing to use words such as tautological is inherently a choice of exclusion and contrary to the purpose of the board. One could presume that you're on this board seeking some sort of validation that you are smarter than everyone else.
