Appreciate it. He usually asks. -

Transition tag him then? -
I just realized that I was more excited about Mario than I am about JJ Watt... must be the age. I'm pretty much over all the speculation on Watt already.

I wouldn't welcome him. -

I don't see anything wrong with bitterness. The team drafted him in the 5th and gave him a shot. He just went to the AFC Championship game with this team. There are players on the Bucs offering to take pay cuts to stay around and we have a relatively young LB who has decided that he values money more than staying on the team. Does that make me want to root for him? No, because I don't care about Matt Milano personally, I care about the Bills as they are the team I have chosen to root for since childhood. I don't care if he makes a lot of money or a little money; his value to me is directly related to how much or little he helps the Bills. Fandom is not something I owe a player. If he chooses to leave the Bills I'll stop caring about him altogether and not wish him well or ill. I don't understand when people get mad at other fans for criticizing a player. This is a game and it's not personal. For 99% of players I view them joining or leaving a team with the same enthusiasm I would if they joined my Madden team, they're a name and stats to me and little else. Every once in a while a player like Kyle or Fred Jackson comes along and I become a fan of that player specifically. I root for those players when they leave the team. Milano is not in that category for me. -
Bills prospect Syracuse CB Ifeatu Melifonwu

honestly, despite hi2 2 pick 6s, I'd rather find a big Nickel who can help up shore up our atrocious TE coverage. Nasirildeen would do this. -
Bucky Brooks top 5 by position draft prospects

Give me 2-4 of his LB rankings in the 1st and I'd be happy to move on from Milano. 2) Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, Notre Dame 3) Nick Bolton, Missouri 4) Jabril Cox, LSU -
I'm confused. Why has there been all this talk about not being able to sign Milano, who is important for us, at 12-13/yr and we're suddenly all ok with paying 12M for a rotational piece? I mean, I want to pay him 12M too, just realized that I had the sam attitude described above and thought it was worth noting.

Available players released from other teams

Or they could extend Brown 1 year, lower his cap his dramatically and not create another need. We can lower his cap hit significantly with some pretty basic changes in structure. -
Is Luke Kuechly a Pipedream?

This is one of those threads where we just throw all real information out of the window and instead indulge in wild, unfounded speculation? I have no idea if Star want to be traded for Aaron Donald, but if both parties are amenable I'd do it. -
Give Watt the money that was due to Jefferson/Butler. He can play 3T or DE at an elite level and Jefferson/Butler stink. With Star coming back it doesn't even leave us in a position to need to pick someone else up as far as the numbers go. You can rotate Addison and AJ.

I want this to happen so much. So it probably won't

Mcshay Mock has Najee Harris to Buffalo
ndirish1978 replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Better than the mock drafts in December we used to do though. -
The only commercial that didn't stink was the Tracy Morgan Rocket Mortgage Ad. Everything else was pretty meh.

I’m warming up to the JJ Watt idea
ndirish1978 replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
LOL at all these people thinking this is madden. "Sure we will take him, but only on a vet minimum deal." Pie in the sky high hopes here. He'll get cut for his salary cap figure but he's not signing somewhere for half of what he was making, he will get 14+ -
Should NFL Adopt 3rd Place Game Week Before Super Bowl?
ndirish1978 replied to Dr.Sack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
American culture doesn't value 2nd or 3rd place in team sports. No one would care about winning the bronze, just as no one cares who loses in the superbowl. Add to that the chance of injury and this idea holds no water. -
Beane says no "blockbuster" moves. Do you believe him?
ndirish1978 replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We need a lot of help on Defense. I could see us changing a LITTLE bit from Beane's usual MO of "sign 3-4 mid-tier players to compete for 2 positions" and instead look for 1-2 actual playmakers if the money is right. But no, I don't see us offering JJ Watt 17M per after he gets cut.
