  1. Completely against trading up. The greatest positions of need we have are DE, DT, CB. The strength of this draft is in its depth at those positions. We need to pick up extra picks in the 3rd or 4th rd and pick up some young players with upside. Tyler Shelvin, Alim McNeil, Ifeatu Melifonwu, Hamsah Nasirildeen, Dyami Brown, Shawn Wade, Israel Mukuamu, Shakur Brown, Trill Williams, Paulson Adebo, Tyree Gillespie - all these players could help us immediately and they are all going rds 2-4. I'd rather pick up 3-4 of these guys rather than trade up and lose a chance at them.
  2. I don't know what TDN was smoking, but I'll take it. No way either my first 2 picks will be around for our picks.
  3. Sam's stock is the lowest it's ever been. You can draft a 1st rd QB and let him sit for a year and try to rehab Darnold's trade value.
  4. Super happy for Lil Dirty, he's severely underrated.
  5. Circumstantial evidence alleged in the ESPN report should be pretty easy to corroborate - just get copies of the texts from Watson and IG messages.
  6. Ok for argument's sake let's remove the current allegations from discussion and just talk about Person A - a celebrity who has money and Person B - someone who gives massages, whether sports or regular. How is Person B supposed to prove that anything was done in an instance where they were coerced into a handy? Any physical evidence could be written off as a consensual act, after all Person A is a celebrity. Person B knows that going to the police will simply open them up to Person A's legal team eviscerating them in public should the allegations come to light. Person B goes to a lawyer and is told that the standard for a criminal case is beyond a reasonable doubt, which is much higher than the civil standard of preponderance of the evidence (more likely than not, the incident happened).
  7. He might drop a little bit due to off the field stuff, he did have a DUI last November
  8. Making a lot of assumptions in this post. I'll respond despite my disregard for posts rife with poor spelling and grammar. No interest in the Donohoe Bills and you will not see me running around the board losing my mind that we didn't get Watt or some other big-name FA. We do, however still have work to do on this roster. DE is a position of weakness and we have not improved. You can't go into a year saying "we were not good last year, but COVID so we will be better next year." DE is not going to be solved with the 30th pick in the draft, you're not going to get an instant 8+ sack kid in this group that late. You're poking holes at my statement while adding a throwaway comment that "a few more vets will be brought in," which is pretty much what my comment is about so I'm not sure exactly what you're saying. We need to pick up a starting DE before the draft, we can draft someone to compete for CB2 early as well as a 1 tech and a big nickel. Would be nice to fill 2 of those needs now, but we can't do that while being right on the line of being over the cap. Lot more work to be done.
  9. Gets a bit frustrating seeing other teams who were against the cap still signing guys while we play the fiscally responsible team. I would think that you prioritize winning over cap when you're in the middle of your window.
  10. Melinfowu and Shelvin - I care more about getting those 2 guys than whoever our 1st rounder is
  11. NFL Mock Draft Database - Not too shabby, not sure how accurate it is though, it accepted every trade I offered? I drafted Mukuamu as Big Nickel in case anyone wonders why I picked 2 CBs in a row. I'm gonna do a couple more of these, thanks!
  12. Ok time to throw all my theories against the wall and see what sticks. #1 Upgrade RG, Dynamic KR/PR who can play on special teams and understudy Cole, CB2, Big Nickel, Developmental Edge, backup WLB, 2nd option at kr/pr #2 Best EDGE available, CB2, 1-Tech monster, my sleeper Big Nickel, Rangy Edge prospect, Developmental TE, KR/PR
  13. Geez, I'll admit I thought this was likely a cash-grab/character assassination promoted by the Texans to force him to stay and get in line. It's now looking like something else. Statistically unlikely there's not something to this.
  14. Does Cynthia Frelund become a Bills fan now?
  15. Well, we just signed Jacob Hollister, so this thread should be dead
  16. If I ignore the media who am I supposed to be frustrated by?
  17. I'm over this already. The media teased this too heavily and never updated, now I'll barely be excited if it happens and will likely just complain about the cost.
  18. This is my problem with his case strategy. Typically if you have the facts on your side you argue the law and don't engage in this grandstanding. If your facts and evidence are shaky, you use media pressure and play the man to pressure them to take a settlement. Like I said before: I don't know if his cases have merit, but if they do he's coming off as self-serving through all these histrionics.
  19. I get you don't want to kick the can and put yourself in a bad situation in the future, but when you're in the middle of your window and the teams you have to get through to win a championship are selling out and going for broke, you better do something or you're gonna be sitting at home with your cap space while other teams play for trophies. This offseason is frustrating me.
  20. The only reason I can think of for him being back is that they brought him in for a meeting just to hand him back his manilla envelop with those targets in it. Anything else I'm not on board with.
  21. Wish him the best, really liked him
