Started this offseason wishing for Carl Lawson and Hunter Henry. Now just wishing for Carlos Dunlap and Cordarrelle Patterson

I wish poison pills were still a thing and we could sign him to a contract that escalates to $40M per year if he plays more than 2 games a year in New England.

I really wanted to get back into hockey this year. By the time I remembered to purchase the nhl package I took a look to see how the Sabres were doing and decided against it. All I read is the Pegulas have made a mess of things, the GM is in over his head and we now handle scouting almost exclusively by video. Sounds like a dumpster fire, or did I miss anything?

My inner monologue for this offseason has gone from "Beane is a wizard" to "why are we trying to lose this year for the sake of being cheap. Everything sucks."
