Respectfully disagree. You can't promote how the game has 3 phases and then not recognize the best player to ever play one of those 3 phases. Ray Guy is in the HOF, that's all I have to say about that.

He's a WR2, but I like Brown much more. He isn't the type of slot we need and have right now so he'd be WR4 over Gabe Davis. Is Robert Woods better than Bease? Yes. Does he offer a lot of the same things other WRs have? Yes. Hence, my preference of Beasley since he offers a different look.

Yes I would be happy. I think expectations are dangerously high right now. A playoff win is a step in the right direction. I'd be thrilled if we made it to the conference championship.

I think different things motivate different people. I find it disconcerting that AJ couldn't beat out someone who was an UDFA last year. I also remember his combine interview with the team where he said he believes that everything has to be earned. Could be he is 3rd string, could be the coaches know him and want him motivated to earn his way up the depth chart. Rookies are going to have a hard year this year because of the lack of a preseason. My guess is you're going to see a lot of early picks peppered in throughout the game but deferring to vets when it comes to starting.

I feel like people are conflating being against a wildcat strike with being against social justice. Skipping a week of football does nothing to solve any problem, it's just stroking the egos of millionaires to make them feel better. Anyone who wants to make a difference to any cause should donate and get involved in their community to band together and actually help solve issues. This is false activism and the only community it serves is the NFLPA so people can give them credit for being woke.

JAX is an awful place to play. Between the HC and the ridiculous amount of player grievances there is no reason to sign there.

I won't care about the season til it starts. Even then I won't let myself invest emotionally into the season because half of me believes we're not making it through the whole season. Not only is there zero bubble in the NFL, they are allowing fans in stadiums according to state regulations. So even if everyone in the league is 100% safe, you could have some moron come to the game and start a an outbreak.
