I can slam Russ Brandon and be aware of these two incidents at the same time. The fact that he did a couple very good things doesn't change the fact that he was a snake oil salesman.

I don't think it's lazy when you're unsure. It would be overly optimistic to assume they will be better than he was. He didn't produce in clutch moments, but he didn't turn the ball over either.

I don't know anything about Culley other than what position he has coached and when. He could be awesome, he could be terrible. I doubt where you put your feet when you're supposed to be throwing changes much from year to year though, are we assuming he forgot? We've had "gurus" on the staff before and they haven't done a thing for our QBs, I don't really think most of us are qualified to determine who is good at that job and who is bad.

He was not a married man causing drama at work with his extramarital affairs. You cannot introduce drama into the office environment and open the organization up to lawsuits. Regardless of the morality is just takes one instance of someone not getting a promotion and suing you for harassment to make the company liable for a bundle.

Thanks for the post and all the work you put into it! Teller and Ducasse are most likely to be our starting Guards. I agree the Washington and Miller are on thin ice but disagree that Lawson or Lorax have to be worried about getting cut. They aren't going to cut a player they rely on to help establish culture and Lorax is a locker room leader.

This board has become kind of toxic in regards to the QB pick. I don't like the pick, but I don't see the point starting 200 threads entitled "my opinion why Allen sucks"

Rather than summoning everyone else to run around and convince you, I'd suggest you actually watch him a couple of his games. There is zero doubt in my mind that 70% of the people on this board whining about drafting Allen have watched more than a single highlight or lowlight package of his throws.The truth of the matter is there are maybe 8-10 guys on this board who actually watch tape, the rest of the board just cherry pick their favorite draft analysts and parrot those opinions as if they are things they came up with on their own.

It's hilarious to me how much the draft is like buying a new car. Before the draft people were hoping Roquan or Edmunds would be around at 12 if we didn't take a QB. People were droolling over LVE because they knew it was likely unrealistic Edmunds or Smith would be around for our 2nd. We get Edmunds at 16, which by every mock draft standard is unbelievable and the SECOND he is drafted all of a sudden it's like he lost half his value just driving off the lot. All of a sudden his instincts are no longer "elite" now he's just a 20 year old kid who has to learn how to play. His speed and size are no longer assets, now they are crutches that he leans on when he's being "too aggressive."
