  1. I found the interview interesting, thanks. I don't think I paid enough attention to syncing Allen's dropbacks with the route being run, food for thought.
  2. Insight into any random BR/ESPN/National Reporter's "process" for writing about the Bills: Watch zero games, catch a couple highlights off of NFL.com Look at roster (realize they are only familiar with less than half of the roster) Look at the Additions/Subtractions column of the roster (do I recognize any names, no matter how old they are?) Look at draft grades Remember Allen isn't accurate, LeSean McCoy is "embattled" and Benjamin trash talked Cam Check preseason box scores This is how the people who actually TRY write articles about us. Forget the ones who just spew nonsense off the top of their heads. Read a bit of the article - seems like the guy just likes sports but doesn't have any actual insight.
  3. Be honest, how many others of you read V Davis and thought Vernon when they click on this thread?
  4. If by objective you mean excrement, then yes I agree: they are both very objective writers.
  5. I might be going, it's 60/40 against, but trying to fly up.
  6. Leroi talking smack about our FO as per usual - nothing to see here.
  7. Peterman/McCarron are the best bets for this time to start the season. If we win a decent amount of games, let them play for a while. If not, pull them and let the Allen era begin around mid-season. I'd like Allen to start Week 8 and spend the rest of the season learning the position at this level. The D has regressed and our Oline is not winning us more than 5 games so we don't have the option to choose "win now"; we're only left with win later.
  8. Thanks Chad. Perhaps once you deign to stop condescending to most of the board you can work on improving your tenuous grasp of the English language. Thanks pal!
  9. Can we please leave politics to PPP? There's enough finger pointing going on in the world, I'd rather not have to read it on a site I come to for distraction. That's aimed at both of you.
  10. Go away Don
  11. We could leave our starting OL in and the QB is still getting injured against scrubs. I hope McD makes the starting OL play the entire game.
  12. I don't hate the Giants, hope it works out for them. But OBJ's history suggests this may not have been a smart move.
  13. Rams did the same thing. This is a copycat league. I guess you have to balance rust vs having players injured. I don't think it's a bad idea to do this in many situations fwiw. Gives young guys a lot more time on the field and vets already know what's up.
  14. Welcome back Leroi! Big week for TBD - Leroi rears his head and Dunkirk Don comes back.
  15. Isn't he the guy that wouldn't sign here because his wife didn't want to come?
  16. They have no reason to trade him. They get him on the 5th yr option and can tag him for 2 straight years. Means they don't have to cut an escrow check for a long-term contract all at once and they keep him til he's 30.
  17. Took me reading a single post to immediately discount your opinions, that's quite an accomplishment!
  18. You're gonna have to give him 2 seasons to reach his potential.
  19. Not looking like more than 5 wins with this Oline and that's presuming we just run the ball every down. We can't pass protect to save our lives.
  20. Thanks for the sunshine and rainbows
  21. What happened to that guy?
  22. At least he's being "true to himself and the readers"
  23. Without the Glenn trade Mason Rudolph or Lamar Jackson is your "QB of the future."
  24. I had to search for him because I hadn't noticed him. Upon finding said poster - his awful syntax is probably Dunkirk Don. Glad you pointed it out so I can ignore him. Thanks!
